Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Truly A Book For Dummies.
Review: Good topic organization and great cheatsheet. However, those virtues simply do not make up for a book filled with flaws. Chapter-ending tests are not only uncomfortably short, they also fail to reflect the actual format of the test. And the virtual test examples found on the accompanying CD-ROM are incomplete at best. For the most part the bulk of the text is laden with witty, yet superfluous wordplay. In an effort to be humorous, the author inadvertently creates distractions throughout the course of the book. Limited in breadth, this book serves as a primer for more serious certification tools such as Andrew's "Exam Prep" or Mueller's "Ultimate..."

Summary: Good, but some mistakes
Review: I liked this book but the book and practice CD-ROM have some incorrect questions and information. I thought that I would never read a Dummie's book, but this book is good. I would recommend this book but just be sure you have another source to go to for validation.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great study aid for the tests
Review: I studied this book for two weeks before taking the tests and passed both on the first try. I read the whole book in the first three days that I had it, and I work full time during the day! I only had two or three questions on the DOS/Windows test that I didn't remember seeing in the book. Now it's time for Core Four for Dummies !

Summary: THE BEST YET
Review: i have ordered this book online, and once I got it, I could not put it down. Very easy and understanable to read

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best book to get started with
Review: This is the first A+ book you should buy. It's very easy to read, well-written, relatively compact, and comes with questions at the beginning and end of each chapter to test your comprehension. (Trust me on this: I started off reading the Meyers book, which was wayyy too detailed, got me hopelessly frustrated and confused and just about made me want to give up on the whole A+ thing.) I haven't taken the exam yet, but I suspect this book alone would not suffice- most people would want to supplement it with something more in-depth. That's where the Meyers book would be a good choice- after you've read this one- or the new software out from Marcraft A+ Certification Complete version 1.1 is good as well.

Summary: The only book you need, Do not waste money on other books
Review: This is the best book I have seen for getting ready for the A+ test. I have friends who have payed more money for other books and failed the test. This book covers everything you need to know to pass the test.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Everything you need in an easy read
Review: Covers everything you need to know without getting technical about technical stuff.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Like I wrote before, awsome
Review: This book is the one and only book you will need to pass the A+ exam. I passed on first try. The dummy book puts in only what you need.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a Find!!!!
Review: No bull, no hype, just "How To." I received the book on a Monday, and passed my exam Wednesday of the follwing week with a score that I was really proud of. It was the only book I used to prepare. I can't wait to try the "Dummies" series as I work towards that MSCE.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Easy to read and understand in plain english.
Review: I am getting ready to take the A+ exams and this is one of three books that I bought and also the eaisest of the three. I hope to take the exam in two weeks and place another review on the accuracy of the information. I read the book front to cover once already and plan to read it again before I take the exam. It helps make technical terms easier to understand and remember. And the chapter on electricty seem very simple. Overall this is a great book. After I take the exam I will post how accurate the practice exams in the book and on the CD stack up against the real exam. E-mail me if anyone knows of anymore good books.
