Summary: I didn't like it either
Review: So many errors. I don't know what's worse: the errors in the test prep or the errors of fellow critics of Gilster's name.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Must have for aspiring A+ Technicians
Review: I have written and passed my A+ exams. It was made easy with the help of the A+ Certification for Dummies book. It provides a "laymans" explaination where it is needed most.

Summary: I got two words for Ron Glister: PROOF READ
Review: This book has way to many errors. It's like you have to second guess yourself on everything you read. I give it one, barely lighted star.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Just the ticket to A+ success
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I don't think it is for beginners exactly, but for somebody that meets the A+ experience requirements, it is an excellent choice for reviewing for the exams. However, if you are a beginner, you will learn only what you need for the A+. Thanks, Ron Gilster! I passed and enjoyed the experience.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Failed the A+ exams completely
Review: While this book has someful features, it doesn't cover certain subjects in depth. For example, modems and multimeters are vaguely mentioned. Shame on you, Glister.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: This book is very bland.
Review: Glister's humor is similiar to the dry jokes of Bob Saget from America's Funniest Home Videos. That game the come with the CD is stupid. You have to answer computer questions at each space station. The test prep is poorly graded. You can't tell how well you did. I wouldn't even buy this book. If anything I would steal it from a second hand thrift store.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Save Yourself the money and use online braindumps
Review: This book is horrible. It doesn't prepare you for the A+ exam. The companion CD is craptacular. The best way to pass the exam is through online test websites such as Reggie's A+ page and NerdGirl.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great - the only resource you'll need to pass A+!
Review: Bought the book a month ago, read it twice and took both the Core and DOS/Windows test today. Passed with a 92(Core) and 89(Dos/Windows). Now, I'm A+ certified! No need to buy other expensive books or attend training courses. This book will prepare you to pass the test. It does have a few typos but is a great resource otherwise.

Summary: Authoritative. Exclusive. Interactive.
