And there are life changing events that happen to both Tara* and Elizabeth. Also you never know what is going to happen next and there are lots of surprises. I could never put this book done and finished it very quickly. If you liked P.S. Longer Letter Later then you should really enjoy this one.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Snail Mail keeps on going! Review: I loved the book P.S. Longer Letter Later and every time I would go to the bookstore and look and look for and sequel untill finally I found it! I was reading a different book and I set that one a side so I could read this one. I love it. I think that ANYONE who has read P.S. Longer Letter Later should read Snail Mail No More. I love this seris and I hope the authors keep it going so I can find out more about the "lives" of Tara and Elizabeth. And also about Scarlett Tara's NEW SISTER! And about Elizabeths mother and father! I say everyone should get this book. And if they haven't read P.S. Longer Letter Later they should get them both and read them!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: an amazing sequel Review: After reading the first book i decided to buy this sequel to see what it was like. As i read on i found that the book delved into the backgrounds of the two girls lives. It showed that friendships can work long distance and even making new friends dosen't mean you forget about those far away. Tara Starr and Elizabeth are too good emotionally constructed characters and the personalities of both soon came to light. A good book filled with serious yet comical moments.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Snail Mail Does Not Fail! Review: I am a 30 year old and after reading this novel (in one night) I was taken right back in time to my teen years just as I was in the original book PS Longer Letter Later. A fellow younger reviewer felt some of the behavior and language of the characters especially TaraStarr did not ring true, but in my opinion that is not the case. There is always those few that go their own way and thats Tara as you see in her emails to Emily the much more conservative teen. Through these emails you see the girls discovering the pain and pleasure of growing up while trying to keep their friendship going despite the miles between them. Time and again they point out to each other how different they are but in the end despite having other "best friends" they always come back to each other. I also have to disagree with the recommended age on this book I am a Teen librarian and have PS in my Teen area where it goes out a bunch I just had the childrens area give me Snail Mail which I had not yet ordered and now do not have to. This really is a book about middle schoolers that deserves to be read by middle schoolers and anyone who has any interest in middle schoolers (especially those like myself who work with this age).

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Nice Book in E-mails Review: This book is pretty good. I loved the writing style used, for the book is written in e-mails, making it very fun. A fast read, Snail Mail No More proved to be even better than its prequel, P.S. Longer Letter Later. There plot in this book was okay, but still the book was enjoyable. Although the characters were somewhat unrealistic, they were fun. The book was cleverly written. Overall, this book was fun and good.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A WONDERFUL 6 STAR STORY Review: This is a wonderful book. I foud it to be even better than the first one, which I also absolutely loved! It was so good that I read it in a night and a morning, and will probably read it over again. I love the format of the e-mails, and I think that it's great how the book can have everything a book need even when it's all e-mails and letters. You should definately read the outstanding book.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: It's nice, but... Review: Corny. The book tackles real issues, and the characters have a lot of depth to them, but i kept getting headaches reading this book. I am a twelve year old, and NONE of the people i know use puns, say things like zounds, or wear pink fuzzy shirts. The writing is excellent, but if these people are to write for ten to twelve year olds, and write as thirteen year olds, they should at least SOUND as if they are of that age. When the writers are just talking about their character's lives and problems, the letters are totally believable, but when they describe kid's speech and clothes, they totally miss the mark.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Getting Better Review: I found this book to be better than its prequel, P.S. Longer Letter Later. The characters just seem to be a bit more REAL in this book and there is more happening. I like how the people in the book don't change suddenly because of the major events that are happening to them, but rather, they change gradually over the course of the whole book.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Uninspired and Out of Touch Review: I am still not sure why I even finished this book. I have never read a book that has had to try so hard to be smart, and yet fail so miserably. Obviously, the authors weren't quite settled on how smart the protagonists should actually be, simultaneously trying to make us believe that these 13-year-old protagonists would casually use phrases like "sartorial playground," make literary references, read Langston Hughes, edit poetry newsletters and start book clubs (in their free time), then fall all over themselves trying to justify why they would know about The Betty Ford clinic or Al-Anon, explaining, "I saw it on TV."Unfortunately, in between heavy-handed public service announcements about taking your pet to the vet and wearing sunscreen was a very weak plot that I am sure I recognize from somewhere. I suspect recycled Danziger, above and beyond this being a sequel. Danziger and Martin even resurrect the tired motif of students taking care of egg babies - complete with all the totally EGG-spected puns. Don't let the email format fool you. This book is utterly out of touch - technologically new millennium, but ideologically early 80s. If you don't want to be lectured to and you want to read something truly enjoyable and smart, pick up a copy of The Westing Game, Walk Two Moons, Flipped, Tangerine, or Crusader.
