Summary: A Fast Read!
Review: I thought that I couldn't love anything more than PS LONGER LETTER LATER, but....I really love this one, too. Both are extremely fast reads. I read both of these books over and over. They are so good. My favorite part is when Tara*'s SIBLING is born (I won't tell you what it is so I don't ruin it), and also when Elizabeth has to deal with her many issues with or without her father. It is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. These books are very true-to-life, as far as I'm concerned. It's very easy to feel for these characters. I cried HARD at the low point in Elizabeth's crisis with her father. This book is really good. I definitely suggest it!

Kudos to the authors for coming up with these books!

Anyone can email me about this.

Summary: Not a 'Snail' Read!
Review: In Snail Mail No More by Paula Danziger and Ann M. Martin, Tara* (Tara Starr) and Elizabeth have been friends since Elementary school. Many people will like this book because it is origionally designed to be e-mails. The authors have made up a realistic yet immaginative plot that is a page-turner. Although the authors do not have much of an idea what it is like to be a teen in the 00's, the ideas behind the book make up for it. It is trgic to hear about Elizabeth's fathers alchoholism and her rough times but are very interesting. A person may think, "Why would I read about something that has hardships and sadness in it?" My answer is: They make great conversation starters.

Summary: This is one of my all time faves!
Review: Snail Mail No More is a great book! I loved it so much I finished it in a day. This book is definetely a page turner. Its very funny and relates to any kind of kid when their best friend moves away. This is one of my all time favorite books! I think it is better than P.S. Longer Letter Later because a lot of different exciting things happen. I loved how Paula Danziger and Ann M. Martin used the e-mail to keep Elizabeth and Tara* in touch. I reccomend this book to anyone! And if you have a best friend make sure you buy them this book or tell them about it!

Summary: A Book that every Teenager should Read!
Review: "Snail Mail No More" is a story about two teenage girls and their e-mail friendship. This covers every issue that teenagers face in this day in time. It talks about peer pressure (some of you who have read the book should know what I'm saying), death, first love/crushes, and just plain growing up. I think that Tara Starr was the best character, because of her spunkiness and her ability to speak her mind. Elizabeth is a little outgoing, but she still needs to learn about getting rid of her insecurities. I think that this book should not only be read by girls, but also by guys. Ms. Martin and Ms.Danziger, please write another sequel! I can't get enough of Tara or Elizabeth!

Summary: A great Sequel
Review: From the beginning to its tragic ending, Snail Mail no More proves to be the perfect sequel to PS Longer Letter later.

In this fast paced book, Elizabeth and Tara* continue their communication, but this time instead of using snail mail, they're using email. The book starts off with the two friends planning to see each other before school starts. The book begins well, with Elizabeth's trip to Ohio to visit Tara*.

In Snail Mail No More, the two girls are also growing mature and start to be interested in boys. When the school year starts, they both have the similar problems with not being able to afford the best clothes and boys preblems too.

In addition, both Elizabeth and Tara* each have one personal problem that comes with life changing effects. Many teens and kids will probably be able to relate to the problems Elizabeth and Tara* have.

All teens and 9-12 kids should read this book because, even though the title doesn't make this book seem that mature, the subject it deals with are.

Summary: a great sequel to P.S. Longer Letter Later!
Review: Okay, I just have to say this: I LOVE Paula Danziger's work andAnn Martin's (out of the BSC books, she writes some great books)work... so what a concept when it came to a sequel to the best book in the world, P.S. Longer Letter Later!

I've wanted this book as soon as I heard about them making a sequel. Of course, it wasn't out yet... and when it was, it was only in hardback. (what sort of beach book that you can take along is HARDBACK? too much sand can get in it!). So when I went to England earlier this summer, I found it in paperback... (despite the fact whoever publishes USA books in the U.K. edits it so the girls there can understand things... summer home becomes second house, color becomes colour, etc) in HARRODS, of all places. I immediately picked it up and to this day, a month later I can not put it down anywhere I go. A great, moving book that's sad in some places, but I realized no matter what, this still is a GREAT SEQUEL! Good going, Paula and Ann!

Summary: A little disappointing...
Review: I had high hopes for this book, written by two of today's best known children's authors. I was a bit disappointed... the book reads like two adults pretending to be teenagers. You can see right through the exclamation points and "sooooooo's". It also tends to be a bit preachy on certain topics, which sound like mom talking, not a thirteen year old. Not to say it wasn't entertaining in parts, and the e-mail premise was cute- I just had higher hopes for this book.

Summary: Compelling, Real Life, Can't put in downer
Review: This book, the sequel to P.S. Longer Letter later is more compelling, breathtaking, heartwrenching, and much more discriptive feelings make this an awesome book. I reccomend it for 10 to any age girls. This book has the way of making you hate Elizabeth's father and love Luke and Barb. It seems like if you traveled to New Jersey or Ohio you would meet Tara* and Elizabeth. Read it. It's wonderful!

Summary: Well...
Review: I'd have to say this was a good book, and I really love the series, but I think P.S. Longer Letter Later was better. I didn't like the e-mailing as much as the actual letters, and I think it got kind of boring when they would e-mail each other from the same house. However, I personally like writing actual letters- but i do like e-mail. THere is a big surprise at the end. Also, I think it drags in some parts. All in all, I would recommend this book but I think that PS Longer Letter Later is better.
