Summary: Ok book- for younger kids!!
Review: This was a great book- but not necesscarily for older kids. I read this book about 3 times, once when i was younger(it was GREAT), next, when i was about 10 (it was ok) and i just read it again (not so thrilling). Older kids- like me!- have better things out there for them... If you are about 8-10 or maybe a little younger, this would be a great book for you. Also, my sister- who is 8- just read this book and i need to say that she loved it!! if you could classify her, she would most definetly be a "reluctant reader". She, even though she's a tough- i mean tough!- audience, loved this book! she's even gottent the rest of her 3rd grade class reading these books.... She is waiting for a next one!! I would HIGHLY reccomend this book to a younger audience although it is not bad for the older ones.... Hope this helps you to decide whether or not to buy this book......!!!

Summary: A bit weak but a good read
Review: I read ps longer letter later (i found it on my bookshelf) and I really liked it. It moved me quite emotionally. This book goes on to tell the 8th grade yr of the two correspondents Elizabeth and Tara*Starr. Elizabeth visits Tara and the two catch up each other on old news. When Elizabeth's visit is over, she continues to correspond with Tara through email. The girls relationship strengthens as Elizabeth's father has worse drinking problems and keeps harrassing his family. Elizabeth is constanly emailing Tara about her life with her friends, family, and school. They even talk about topics normal girls would talk about: unfair parents, boys, dances, clothes etc. Unfortunately something horrible happens to Elizabeth who turns to Tara for help. The girls need each other more then ever. Will Elizabeth break away from the good life she has managed to build in the following months of her father's departure or will she remain to emailing Tara?

Summary: YAWN
Review: This book was aweful! My title just means that it makes you want to yawn! I hated this book and although the girls in the book seemed realistic, I hate listening to "are you still going to be my best friend?" and "I'm grounded! OH MY GOSH!" This book is not for people over 10 years old.

Summary: A Yawn A Minute
Review: The book was quite the bore. I didn't like this book at all! The characters didn't seem very real and the drunk father seemed like such a loser. I didn't like this book because I didn't enjoy it. The books I read usually aren't totally through e-mail and aren't so boring. It seemed though, like it was the average 11 or 12 year old-worrying about boys, school, and family. Those are some realistic qualities but I just dont like reading about little children and what they're going to wear! If you enjoy action or fantasy books or you are a boy, dont EVER read this! You will cry your eyes out of boredom. I gave this 1 star. Wondering why? (see above)

Summary: Snail Mail No More
Review: The book "Snail Mail No More" is a wonderful book. The protaginists are named TaraStar and Elizabeth. They are both 13 years old and best friends but TaraStar lives in Ohio and Elizabeth lives in New Jersey.Their goal is to make their friendship last. Their barrier is that their own conflicts may get in the way between the two of them. One conflict is that Elizabeth's father left her and her family or another on is that TaraStar's mother had a baby. Their lives are changing and it's hard for them to keep a long lasting friendship.
The author's style of writing is very interesting because it's all in e-mails. I really liked how the author did that because it makes the book fun to read and is not like anyother regular book.
I really liked this book and I could read it as many times and it still wouldn't be boring to me. It's honest about things that happen and things that might happen to anybody. It has humor and it is also sad. I loved it and is a great book.

Summary: GREAT..but a BIT dissapointing
Review: I could hardly wait to read this, after the terriffic P.S. Longer Letter Later..and it was very good..i loved learning so much more about Elizabeth and Tara* and their CHANGING families...im just wondering is this becoming a series? coz the ending totally leaves you hanging and wondering if these characters and how these characters will overcome the changes...i would love for this friendship to go on, but give us a little closure! other than that..I'm waiting for part 3 impatiently...so, when is it coming?

Summary: Snail Mail No More
Review: This book is the sequel to P.S. Longer Letter Later. In this book, both Tara* and Elizabeth get e-mail. Elizabeth goes to visit Tara*. And Tara*'s sibiling is born. It's a very good book. I can totally relate to it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: more like a journal than anything else
Review: This book is about two friends, Tara*Starr and Elizabeth after Tara moves away. They first talk to each other through letters, but then both of them get computers, so they can send each other e-mail. They talk about everything that is going on in their lives, and every possible creative idea and bit of bad news. They realize that their friendship might be ruined because of their changing lives. Their friendship goes through the ultimate test when something terrible happens to Elizabeth's father. They end up still being friends, but they know that their friendship will never be the same again. This book is great for people that like to read journals, because it is like two journals in one. If you don't like journals, you will find this book boring. I found it very interesting, but at some times, it was just plain boring.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Heartwarming Story!!
Review: This is a wonderful story of two girls trying to overcome their own roadblocks:boys, family, and much, much more! Elizabeth, with her fathers alcoholism and life without a dad in the picture, and Tara* with her new sibiling and her dare-devil ways. Can these girls help each other along life's narrow way or will they turn to others?!?!
