Summary: The Best of the 2003 Superman Calendars
Review: Out of the 2 Superman-only calendars available for 2003, this is definitely the one to get! It features what is still the best incarnation of Superman of them all, in terms of the artwork: the 1970s and early 1980s Curt Swan influenced Superman.

It is rare to find any calendars or any products with this particular version of Superman, since most of them carry the 1930s/1940s version of Superman (like the other 2003 Superman calendar, which I have seen and find quite drab), or the current version of Superman (as he appears in "Justice League"), which is a throwback to that Superman.

This beautiful calendar contains scenes of the Pre-Crisis Kal-El at his very best, and with the settings and characters that made this Superman the most special of them all. What I like about this calendar is that even though other characters make an appearance, Superman is dominant in the frame. This is his calendar, after all!!

The best part: the 1980s, Pre-Crisis Supergirl, with the attractive headband, makes an appearance.

The colours in this calendar are brilliant, and the calendar's design is aesthetically pleasing. From near or far, it will brighten up any office or room. Slow Dazzle has done a fabulous job! From someone who has seen all the Superman calendars for this year, buy your favorite Superman fan this calendar. Not the others.

If you hate the Picasso like artwork of "Justice League" and the current Superman comics, pick this calendar up.....and let's hope DC brings back the artwork of this Superman in its comics and shows....the REAL Superman!
