Summary: A great resource for the TRUE DBZ fan
Review: Dubbies (fans of North American DBZ), stay away from this. this is part of the 10 volume Daizenshyu set, books that, though mostly in Japanese, have become a resource for every great DBZ webmaster. There is little english to be found in these books, so hone your Japanese first.

Volume 7 is the biggest, and has all kind of info. Ever wondered where the REAL power level lists cme from? Here. Attack lists and character lists are also here, PLUS concept drawings by Toriyama!

All in all, a great set, and as long as you are a TRUE DBZ Otaku, buy all 7. Those who watch the english DBZ, though, be warned: These books are not for you.

Summary: The Dragonball Bible
Review: If there's anything you ever wanted to know about Dragonball, it's in this book. The only downside? The book is a Japanese print and therefore won't do much for the typical American fan. Contained within is a short note from Akira Toriyama himself, a timeline of the Dragonball universe, insight into races and cultures of the many creatures in Dragonball, complete lists of names, moves, items, places, and many other things. Also strewn throughout the book is "Secrets of Dragonball", a full encyclopedia of every piece of DB/Z merchandise ever released, and much, much, more. If you are a hardcore fan, or know Japanese, this is a book you shouldn't go without. If you know no Japanese, I recommend books 1, 3, 5, and 6.

Summary: Dragonball Daijiten: The Holy Grail of Dragonball
Review: What can I say? This is THE book to buy for all Dragonball fans, new and old alike. The entire book is in Japanese, but the art and quality of the information inside is precious. This has been known as the book of all books, which includes all 42 original Tankoubans (Original manga series) in beautiful color, exclusive interviews with Toriyama himself, an entire list of attacks used in the Dragonball/Dragonball Z series, and much much more! The rarity and value of this book alone is worth purchasing it, and it's even better if you can read Japanese. :) It's neccesary that even Dragonball fan buy this book, I know I will! ^_^ If there is one piece of Dragonball merchandise, one item out of all the books, movies, toys, etc, THIS has to be the item to get. Don't miss out on this great book.
