Rating: Summary: Images and Info Review: Dragonball Daizenshyuu Juugou, TV Animation Part 3 is a nice balance of information and eyecandy. Contained within the book is large (sometimes full page) shots from the Buu saga and onwards, along with narration of the events. This is a great source of shots for Uubu, Majin Buu, Gokuu, SSJ3 Gokuu, Pan, Vejitto, and others. Also, the book contains a guide to the "Filler" episodes in the series. That is, the episodes which were created by TOEI, and never originally in the manga. Possibly the best reason to buy this book however, is the huge section devoted to the Dragonball 10th Anniversary Reanimation Special - "Path of the Strongest". Everything from character sketches to Toriyama's comments on certain scenes. Another nice section of the book is a breakdown of the creation of an episode, from planning to animation to sound effects. The last three sections of the book are the breakdown of the seiyuu (voice actors), a listing of every battle in the manga/anime, and finally summaries for the last 21 episodes followed by the full staff listing for the series. Definitely a great book to pick up for a decent price.

Rating: Summary: good, if somewhat long wait Review: Dubbies (fans of North American DBZ), stay away from this. this is part of the 10 volume Daizenshyu set, books that, though mostly in Japanese, have become a resource for every great DBZ webmaster. There is little english to be found in these books, so hone your Japanese first.Volume "8" goes from the Vegetto saga to the end of DB. It also talks about the last three DB theatre releases. Good buy here, like all the othere Daizenshyu. All in all, a great set, and as long as you are a TRUE DBZ Otaku, buy all 7. Those who watch the english DBZ, though, be warned: These books are not for you.
