Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Gundam Mobile Suit Roman Album.
Review: For me there is no such thing as a bad roman album. They are written in japanese and are read back to front. This one deals with the original Mobile Suit Gundam staring Amuro Rey and the Rx-78-2. It starts with a glossy color section that summarizes the show comic book style. It then goes on to a rough paper color section highlighting certain aspects of the show. Examples being certain mecha in action. The rest of the book is in black and white and is divided up into three major sections. First there are one page features of the characters and the voice actors portraying them. Then there is the mechanics section with lots of line drawings showing the various machines and locations from the show. This is my favorite part of the book as this is were you can see how things work. The final part has interviews with the producers, directors and other important people along with some simple sheet music of the themes of the show. Again, this is all in japanese, but is essential for your collection if you love Gundam.
