Summary: The Magic Knight Rayearth Boxset
Review: **THE STORY**
Ahh CLAMP and their wonderful works. This is no different. This story revolves around 3 "normal" girls named Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu. One day, they were abducted into a mysterious land called Cephiro. They find out that they were brought here by the princess of Cephiro who's in deep trouble. The princess had been kidnapped by Zagato (the big bad guy) and now Cephiro is in chaos. Monsters are appearing in Cephiro where they didn't belong before. Basically, Cephiro is in shambles. Now it's up to the legendary Magic Knights to save Cephiro! The story itself is kind of like an RPG with magical girls.

**THE ARTWORK**
The artwork is unflipped and the quality is just as good. In the previous volumes of Magic Knight Rayearth, the artwork was flipped and now it's done the "right way". CLAMP's artwork has always been known to be very detailed and sport a neo-baroque style just like X/1999. These women are very talented and their stories are always great.

**THE BOXSET**
This boxset includes a special memorial book which is a nicely added bonus. It has some info on the characters along with the weapons used. This book also includes some info on the geography of Cephiro. The first half of book is colored and has a mini "bonus section" with the 3 girls in it. Anyway, the second boxset is rumored to be released March/April 2003 so I'll glady get that when it comes out.

**COMPLAINTS**
The only complaint I have with the boxset is that, the box itself is flimsy. It bends easily so when I ordered mine from Amazon.com, it was kind of squished.

Summary: From the creators of Sakura Cardcaptors and X/1999.
Review: Clamp, an all female company certainly knows what its doing. Rayearth is a great manga with a very unexpected ending. It was the work that made the Clamp girls famous. The story involves 3 girls that get sucked into a world where magic is the factor that determines strenght, and depends on the will of one person to keep the world safe. But is that person's will strong enough to keep the magic world of Cephiro safe?... The artwork is great, however not up to par with X/1999. I heard the second part is even better than the first, can't wait for it to come out. If you like this manga and wanna see more get the TV series or the OVAs. You also get an extra color artbook with this set by the way. Buy it now.

Summary: Out of Print!? Why?!
Review: First let me say how much I love the magic knight rayearth series. I got all six volumes; the three from the first series and the boxed set of the second series. So why is this one out of print? Why do you have to buy all three volumes separately? There¡¦s still a big market for MKR, and all of CLAMP¡¦s manga, so why did they make the boxed set of limited availability? I really wanted to buy it, and get the extra booklet. I wish they would bring it back again, because I almost wasn¡¦t able to get the series because it¡¦s too expensive getting all the books separately; I ended up buying everything off of ebay. Almost every series has a boxed set, so what¡¦s the deal with this one?
Disapointed¡Kƒ¼
(But buy the manga anyway, it rocks!!!)
