Summary: Very good, but seems drawn out
Review: When I read this book originally, I found it enthrauling. It is the search which Dream and Delirium take to find Distruction. Looking back on it, I see it as somewhat contrived. Basically the point of the book is to force dream to kill his son (take family blood). This sets the story up for the Kindly Ones. There are certainly parts of it which are interesting (like delirium causing the cop to go insane, and the ordeal with the stripper-goddess), but in all the book seems lacking somehow.
