Review: Fans of Ware know him to be the most talented practitioner of the graphic arts to be seen since... well, he's the equal to Crumb in both talent and twisted worldview, so no other peers come to mind. He's been publishing since the middle days of RAW magazine in the 80s, and he just keeps getting better and more acid. Here's a heaping helping of his best: obsessively rendered tales of angst, revenge, and suffering that still manage to be HYSTERICALLY FUNNY! Not for every taste, but for those with eyes to see he's the find of the 90s and deserving of 100 MacArthur grants and the worship of aging fan-boys everywhere.
