Review: In CARTOONIST, Kyle Baker gives his hilarious take on everything from politics, to religion, to love and family life! Like a Robert Benchley essay or Andy Rooney tirade, these cartoons make you think about things you see every day in a fresh and funny way. My favorite part of CARTOONIST is the section on "THE BAKERS," Kyle's cartoons based on his own family life. His cartoons poking fun at his life with a wife and little kids are like a modern-day "FAMILY CIRCUS!" Anyone who has been driven crazy by their family but still loves them to death will get a huge kick out of "THE BAKERS." I hope there will be lots more "BAKERS" cartoons to come!
