Summary: Incredible Work!
Review: This is probably one of the best art books I've seen in a long time. All of Masamune Shirow's illustrations are original color-only designs, including several from popular series such as Ghost in the Shell down to his lesser known work such as Orion and Black Magic. The artwork is top-notch quality with absolutely no "filler" work. Most interestingly, it includes commentary by Shirow in both Japanese AND English, which is highly unusual for a title like this. This allows for some particularly informed knowledge on the insight of one of Japan's premier science fiction artists and writers. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Shirow's work in Ghost in the Shell or Appleseed.
