Summary: Couldn't Put It Down
Review: Been a fan of the comic strip for a few years. Have been waiting for a while to see the strips in complilation form. This book did not disappoint. Has the first 112 episodes, which covers the whole first five years of the strip, 1998-2003. The additional material is first-rate, a couple of additional never-published-before episodes and a lot of bio info about creator Greg Fox. Really liked the various promo pics of the strip's characters throughout the bio area. And the detailed floorplan of the B&B house is magnificent! This is a steal at the low selling price. I know what I'm buying as Christmas gifts this year!

Summary: Addictive, Sexy, Heart-wrenching, and Laugh-Out-Loud Funny!
Review: Everything I would ever want in a comic strip, and much more! To call it a "comic strip" is almost inaccurate. Kyle's B&B is more of a cinematic experience, the gay male TV show that we have all been waiting for, in comic strip form, (for now, at least. I cannot imagine this NOT becoming a TV show or movie at some point soon. The characters and plots are too rich to ignore). More than just hot guys in briefs, (though there certainly is plenty of that), this is a story of friendship and compassion told with lots of humor & warmth. And here, at last, are all the first 5 years of episodes of the comic strip gathered in one volume. As well as a fascinating introduction by creator Greg Fox that details how this all came to be. And even an additional extended episode, never published before, that ties everything together in the end. And blueprints of the B&B, too. My only question is, when is the next book coming out?

Summary: A Hilarious Slice of Gay Life
Review: Greg Fox's "Kyle's Bed and Breakfast" is one of the best comics in the gay press today, and here he collects the first few years of his strip detailing the interactions and adventures of a collection of residents of a Long Island bed and breakfast. Using a multiple panel format familiar to Sunday comics readers, Fox breaks apart stereotypes as he chronicles the lives of characters with very divergent personalities. Because the strip appears every other week, each strip stands alone but can arc through a single storyline in several episodes. It is nice to have this collection and to be able to sit down to discover how his characters became fleshed out over the past few years. The strips may not be ground breaking but they are wildly entertaining, giving you people you may find yourself caring about. A comfortable place to relax and enjoy gay America.

Summary: You just want to visit this place and stay!
Review: I have not be exposed to this comic strip before and I am sorry it took me so much time to find it. This strip (and most of the characters do) is often hilarious but beneath that, it is a warm and very true portrait of life. I can not wait until the next compilation. Thank you Greg Fox for letting us in the B&B in your mind.

Summary: Awesome Read!
Review: I have to say I am not a big comic reader, but I kept seeing this comic strip week after week in my local paper, and it just drew me in against my will until I was hooked! Then I was frustrated I couldn't see the early episodes, but now this book is out, and I was able to catch up on what I missed, which was a lot. About 3 years worth out of the 5 years represented here. Maybe it was the hot guys that drew me in at first, but it was the stories that really made me a fan. It gives me a warm feeling reading about these guys who I really care about like they're my friends. This is a B&B I wish I could check into!

Summary: KYLE'S BED AND BREAKFAST
Review: This book collects the early episodes of the online gay comic strip soap opera KYLE'S BED AND BREAKFAST. Greg Fox is a tremendously talented artist and writer. The characters in this series are just like people one may know in real life. I highly recommend the book and would rate it 10 stars if it were possible to do so.
