Summary: Cute book
Review: As CCS was my very first taste of CLAMP, I'd have to say this book was AWESOME. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous, and all of the characters are nothing short of lovable! Like all shoujo comics though, you have to keep in mind that this is focused towards little girls, and lacks the aspects of bloody fights and rolling heads. Also, as most dubs go, some of the translations are incorrect... But even so, I give this manga full stars. The storyline is really cute, and I was totally stunned. :)

Summary: Cute
Review: Cadcaptor Sakura is a cool series about a girl whose goal is to re-collect magical cards that she accidently released from an ancient book, with the help of a pixie-like creature she also released from the book, Keroberos, or Kero for short. The neat costumes Sakura's best friend makes for her to fight evil in are flashy, lacey, and fluffy dresses with matching hats. The characters are memorable, and each has something to offer. The Clow Cards pose a threat, but not so much of one that you can't enjoy Sakura's life outside of battle.

Overall, I would say THIS book is good, but the second book contains extremly mature, and...well...kind of gross content that kids shouldn't be reading. I still re-read the first and second books that I purchased because I know what to expect, and it doesn't change my opinion of the world or bother me much, but I definitely don't plan on buying any other books in this series.

I wrote this review for the first manga book, but for some reason it is being shown as a review for the second one. I'm just telling you so that you don't get the wrong idea.

Summary: Cardcaptor Sakura- My favorite Manga!
Review: Cardcaptor Sakura is another masterpiece created by Clamp!

Cardcaptor Sakura is about a girl named Sakura who accidentally stumbles upon a book in her father's books. When she opens it, all these cards fly out. Also, Kero, Guardian of the Clow Cards, appears. He makes Sakura a Cardcaptor. Her job is to collect all the Clow Cards before they cause too much mischief.

Characters:
Clow Reed-a powerful magician who created the Clow Cards and sealed them away in a book
Li and Melin-related to each other, Li has special powers similar to Sakura's because he's related to Clow Reed
Toya-Sakura's big brother
Yukito (or Yuki)-Toya's friend, Sakura really likes him!
Tomoyo-Sakura's best friend, likes to video tape Sakura catching Clow Cards
Ms. Mitsuki-a substitute teacher, mysterious
Sakura's father-a teacher, really nice
Sakura's mother- she's deceased, the parts about Sakura's mother make it sad

If you read these, I would have the next one ready because are really fast reads, and they're good!

Review: First let me start by saying that I don't own the English version Of Card Captor Sakura[CCS from now on],this review is based on volumes of CCS that I own in another language. The whole Japanese collection is 12 volumes

Card Captor Sakura is another masterpiece by CLAMP,a group of 4 very talented ladies. It revolves around the story of Sakura(a 10 year old girl if I'm not mistaken),an innocent and cheerful girl who accidently opens a magical sealed book in her father's study. The magical cards all fly out of the book and a small winged lion cub named Cerberus or Kero-chan as Sakura calls him, appears and panics that the cards have all run away and immediately appoints Sakura as Card Captor, warning her that if she doesn't collect all the cards a great catastrophe would occur.

The story sounds like you typical magical girl adventure, but consider that it's done by CLAMP and you know that there will be enough twists and surprises in the plot to keep you interested(and it does). The art is exceptionally CUTE,all the characters are a joy to behold done in CLAMP's trademark style. With 52 cards to capture and master,Sakura has quite a burden to carry, not to mention her crush on her brother's best friend, annoying Kero-chan,and her best friend Tomoyo who supplies her with very cute and beautiful costumes to wear on her card-capturing moments and insists on videotaping Sakura in them.Much to Sakura's embarressment and shyness.

CCS is a magical adventure story with many secrets and plot surprises,a colourful and charming cast, with themes of friendship and love, and complemented by CLAMP's magnificent art and storytelling. It makes a nice addition to any manga fan's library and a must for fans of CLAMP.

NOTE:CCS contains some ideas not suited for younger readers, like a love relationship students and teachers of different ages and hints of homosexuality. There is no GRAPHICAL sex or violence, and most of it is hinted and suggested that only the astute reader would ever notice it.However I felt that I would be misleading you if I didn't mention this.Like I said,it's all very subtle, and you shouldn't allow it to keep you from buying this title. But if you can't stand even hints...(shrugs)well it's your choice.

Summary: This started the craze...
Review: I'm sure everyone has heard of Card Captor Sakura (or Cardcaptors, as it is known in the United States). Well, this is the manga that started it all. Whereas the TV series shows us how she opened the book and got the job, here that first adventure is seen only in a brief flashback. And she does not face off with the cards in the same order that she does in the anime. That may have something to do with the fact that there are only about a third of the cards featured in the manga than are in the show and movie.

A good series that was made into an exceptional TV series (until it was butchered by the US and our critics).

Summary: Cardcaptor Sakura
Review: I'm sure that a lot of reviewers have explained the events of this book very well, so I won't bother in my review. This series is really addictive, as long as you're okay with incredibly cute characters and character interaction. Everyone is just adorable, even when they happen to be adults. The facial expressions on all the characters are excellent. If you like one of the Cardcaptor books, I think it would be really hard not to want to get them all, since CLAMP often gives you just enough character relationship information in one book to have you wanting more. The plots of the Cardcaptor books aren't all that complex, but it's not the plots that are the most important part of the Cardcaptor series. A big part of the series is the character interactions, how everyone's relationships with others develops. That's why I keep reading the series - I want to know how things turn out with everyone!

Summary: I've enjoyed what I've read so far
Review: Okay, so I resisted reading this because all I could think of when I heard the title was "cutesy kiddy cartoon." It's bad to judge something when you don't know much about it. The artwork in this manga is amazingly detailed. In this book, Sakura takes part in field day, deals with a few Clow cards (I'm still trying to figure those out, so I'm looking forward to getting ahold of the first book), and meets Li (a boy who doesn't seem to like her at all). There's a lot about Sakura's relationships with other people, particuarly her friends and Yuki, a guy she likes. Incidentally, Li also seems to like Yuki. This book deals a lot with "who likes who," which I'm guessing is the same for the whole series. I'm looking forward to reading some more.

Summary: Great Manga!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This manga is pretty cool. I got it a couple of days ago and I finished it in one day! Sailor Moon, to me, it similiar to CardCaptor Sakura. They break the book into 3 parts. They have little profiles for Sakura, Tomoyo, Toya, and Yukito. One of the top MANGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: The beginning of Cardcaptor Sakura in manga form...
Review: Up until now I've never read the Cardcaptor Sakura manga. I've seen the anime(in it's unbutchered form) first, and I kinda expected the manga to be identical to the anime. Boy was I wrong; the manga starts off with Sakura already gaining her title as the 'Cardcaptor'. Alot of other things are vastly different too; the whole series moves along quicker than the anime, and the situations sometimes are completely new or different. Either way it's all still good, for a shojo manga. One thing that really stands out as 'different' in the first volume would definetly be how Sakura captures the Windy card. It's quite different if you've seen the anime. Again, it's very good reading; it's like a cross-between of Sailor Moon and Pokemon: It's got the cute girls, strange outfits, and loads of relationships between almost every character like in Sailor Moon, and then they've got the spirits that reside in the cards that come out to assist Sakura by fighting against other cards, and the strategies that Sakura must think of in order to beat the opposing forces like in Pokemon. So either way, even if you're not a girl, you just may enjoy this.
