Summary: Good in the original - flawed in the translation.
Review: Don't get me wrong here - I absolutely love Sailor Moon. I own all of the original Japanese manga. The artwork is stunning, the story is fascinating, and I treasure my collection of the originals.

Then I picked up the Mixx translations, and...well. I admit that it's a lot easier to read this than to have the Japanese manga in one hand and an English translation in the other. But the English translations I originally had are a lot more faithful to the original than this. Mixx seems to delight in changing things for no particular reason ("I like to eat pudding" becomes "I like to eat Pringles" - wha?) and to alter the little notes from Naoko until they barely resemble what she originally wrote. I'm of a mixed opinion here, and I doubt I'll be buying more of the Mixx versions.

Summary: A beautiful manga book thats worthy of 5 stars
Review: Normally I am very picky on what I choose to read, but as soon as I read this book, I knew I would love all of them. The artwork alone is enough to prove that Naoko Takeuchi is truly gifted. I never tire of reading these wonderful books. I get a dose of all of the type of reading materials I like; drama, romance, and a bit of comedy which makes it the best. I always read them straight through and I always buy the newest book that is released. All in all this book and the other 6 volumes are must have for true Sailor Moon fans.

Summary: My fave SAILOR MOON MANGA
Review: This has to be my favorite Sailor Moon manga. I loved it so much that I believe I read it 3 times in one day!
It starts out with Sailor Moon learning she's the leader of the 3 other sailor scouts. When Serena faints and finds herself with Tuxedo Mask, she uses the moon wand Luna gave her, and with Tuxedo Mask's help, she uses it against the negaverse. Later on, we find out the true identity of Tuxedo Mask, and Serena starts to fall for Darien, as Darien falls for her. Finally, when Sailor Moon is about to be killed by Zoicite (Also spelled Zoysite, and Zoycite), Sailor Venus (A.K.A. SAILOR V!) saves her. Artemis (Sailor Venus's talkingcat) tells the other Scouts that Sailor Venus is the moon princess. But is she really? And why does Sailor Moon's Tiara change from straight to a large crescent moon with a red jewel in the middle? So many twist and turns to keep you hanging! You must read this manga!

Summary: Naoko at her best!
Review: This is a great sequel to the first comic! in it, sailor v finally arrives! :-) the only confusing part (to those of you, like me, who already knew a lot about Sailor Moon before you began reading the manga)is that V says that she's Princess Serenity! But really, she's just acting as a decoy princess and of course the true princess is Bunny! Bunny is sooooooo pretty in teh form of Princess Serenity, and the part near the end where they find that Bunny IS Serenity is my fave part! The sad part is that Tuxedo Mask got badly hurt trying to protect Bunny ... But it really is an awesome book!

Summary: SO ROMANTIC AND TOUCHING!
Review: This was my first manga book from mixx comix, when i bought it, i knew i was getting something good, and boy was i right! The manga gives you the touching romantic story between Bunny and Mamo-chan, including the revealing of indentities. This is a definate must read, i am an avid Sailor Moon fan and this made my opinion of the series so much higher. I plan on getting the rest of the manga's to finish off the cliffhanger story at the end.

Summary: Such a great manga!!
Review: This was such a fantastic manga. The superheroes are girls, and the artwork is so gorgeous. Also, the storyline is soooo cool and very unique. The story and characters themselves are unique and fascinating. This is unlike anything you've ever read, you've gotta get it! The outcome of the situations will always surprise you. And the manga of Sailor Moon is sooooo much better than the chopped up DiC version. Get this book, you won't regret it.
