Review: I found this title, to be much like the rest of Herge's series: full of color, lovable characters, history, and ACTION. This book is a wonderful buy, and a must have in any collection.

Here, Tintin is trying to avoid suspicions of an alleged overthrow, but ends up helping is old friend, General Alcazar to overthrow the government of tapiocapolis.

Review: One of Herge's top performances. A wonderful journey in the heart of South America. Grown-ups will enjoy the subtile satire of a revolutionary political system. Younger readers will be amused by the legendary General Alcazar and the ever lasting clumsiness of Capitain Haddock. A wonderful tale full of jokes, irony, adventure and even suspense. A must read!
