Summary: An interesting twist to Stinz' war stories...what DID happen
Review: This volume tells how the odd "transmorphing" phenomenon happened during the centaur Stinz' years at war. Donna has cutting humor, biting reality, and fantastic imagination and storytelling, all in one comic book. This comic is more understandable if you have been following along in her other Stinz comics about the war, but it is OK as a standalone. Her artistry really is vivid, and you can find hints of foreshadowing in her storyline, though it's not that apparent until AFTER you've read through and stopped to look back through and find the hidden goodies. The only parts that bother me about this comic is some crudeness (which I'm sure is appropriate as Stinz is a centaur stallion going through a war) and its vagueness in what happened. But that too makes it seem as if the characters themselves really did NOT have a clue what happened or how.
