Summary: Thank the gods its finally here
Review: Since I had reread my well-worn copies of Agent of Change and Conflict of Honors in preparation for reading this book, the beginning seemed slightly slow to me as the authors reviewed a few key things that would make Plan B accessible even to those who haven't had the pleasure of reading the original series (which Meisha Merlin is reprinting).

With action, romance, sensuality, and a flair for character development, the book and I were inseperable from the moment Val Con entered the cell with No-Troop until the end of the book at the second re-reading. This is not a book to take with you while taking the train into work. You will miss your stop. You will end up in another country before you notice.

Summary: A (long overdue) triumphant return!
Review: After a decade long wait, I was thrilled when my copy of Plan B arrived. I promised myself that I would savor it slowly, but soon found myself totally immersed in the story, and devoured it in a single evening. Then I went back and read it again the next day. Plan B is everything that fans of Liad had hoped for and more. I'm so pleased to see that despite the long intermission, the authors have lost none of their power to create truly memorable characters and a gripping story. I want more, more, more, now!

I can't wait till the earlier titles are reprinted, so I can give them as gifts to my friends, my own copies being far too fragile to loan out.

Summary: Plan B is NOW in effect.
Review: After too long a wait, PLAN B has finally been published. My friends in the Liaden Universe were every bit as great as I remembered them and the trouble Clan Korval gets into every bit as dangerous. Val Con, Miri, Shan, Edger, and all the rest of an exciting cast of characters make this book impossible to put down. The Luck of Clan Korval leads to some interesting plot twists. I can't wait for the next book, I DARE.

Summary: Fantastic! Wonderful! Best book of the year!
Review: Plan B is everything fans of Liad could have hoped for, after a nine year wait. It's a wonderful story, set in a richly complex universe with fascinating characters. I read it in one sitting, and then reread it again. There are times I feel that I actually know Shan, Priscilla, Miri, Val Con, and even Nelrikk Explorer.

I can not recommend this book highly enough. The only thing that could surpass this is the author's next work, which I am eagerly awaiting.

Summary: A Sequal.. (at long last) which uplifts a series.. how rare
Review: If you've never read these two wonderful authors... Do so. To convince you.. all I can do is quote Anne McCaffrey (and I quote) ":):);)". If you ARE familiar with the authors.. all I can say is that this book is everything it HAD to be and needed to be.

Summary: They're BACK!
Review: I read the last Sharon Lee and Steve Miller book, Carpe Diem, by candle light in San Francisco after the October 17, 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Even with all the difficulties surrounding the aftermath of the quake, Carpe Diem had me laughing out loud. For a short time I was taken away from the devastation in the City. It's been a long wait, over 9 years, but the wait was worth it. Plan B is an excellent novel. Though I read by electric lights this time, I still laughed out loud and found myself taken away to the wonderful Korval Universe for a few hours. The day after I read the book, I reread it, it was that much fun. I know we have to wait another couple years for the next installment ... but maybe if we whine loud enough Sharon Lee and Steve Miller will speed up the process. Folks if you haven't read books by these two, go find them! Buy Plan B! You won't regret it.

Summary: A Perfect Addition to the Liaden Universe!
Review: Plan B is the perfect addition to the Liaden Universe books. Not only does it continue the adventures of the old, favorite characters, it also introduces terrific new characters. In addition it expands our knowledge of the Liaden Universe in the most delightful and intriguing ways. Newcomers will also enjoy this book, since it doesn't presuppose a familiarity with Lee's and Miller's previous books. Truthfully, Plan B has it all: great characters that you care about, great writing, and a great plot!

Summary: Incredible.
Review: When I first heard that there was going to be another Liaden Universe book I was both excited and scared. Excited that one of my favorite series of all time would be continuing and scared that after so long of a break between books that this new book would be weak and poorly written. I needn't have been concerned. This book is as well written as the rest of the series and has left me craving the next sequel, I DARE,

Summary: A delightful space opera with mirth, mystery and magic.
Review: Wonderful! This book can be read on its own, unlike many sequels, but is more fully appreciated if you've read the ones that came before. The characters are well developed (and fun!) and the plot lines woven with care and artistry. Although it was a long ten years, this book is well worth the wait. More! More! More!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Divine!
Review: I absolutely loved Plan B. It was tough to wait 10 years, but worth it. I just finished it and I'm now impatiently waiting for I Dare. If you get an oppurtunity to read this series, do so. The characters are wonderful.
