Summary: Harry Potter for the twisted
Review: The above is the first thought that enters my mind when I think of Negima!. That is NOT to say children should read this--there are enough gratuitous panty shots and naked bodies shown to make a mother faint. It is slightly Potterish, but only in the fact that Negi is a young, British wizard who wears glasses.

What makes me enjoy this manga so much is the humor. Negi is an adorable character, and watching him deal with his new charges is highly amusing.

Also, I have to agree about Del Rey. They've done an excellent job in translating the sound effects (every single one, if my eyes haven't deceived me--something Tokyopop doesn't seem to see fit to do) and keeping Japanese suffixes intact. The only error I really saw was one instance where Takamichi's name was printed "Takamachi". But only once.

Now we just have to wait until August for the next one... ^^;

Summary: Ken Akamatsu's best manga ever!!!
Review: This is Mr.Akamatsu-san's best manga ever!From 5 girls(Love Hina),now it's 30 girls!I can wait to see the other volumes of Negima!As Mentioned by Mr.Akamatsu in this volume one release,some of his girls are not "That" normal,I heard it from a friend of mine(he got volumes#1-5 already with a different publisher).You'd be suprise that those students of Negi-san are really not Normal indeed if you want to know then start collecting.For those Ken Akamatsu-san's Manga fans,don't miss any copy of this latest manga series of his.

Summary: horrible
Review: This is one of the worst mangas I have ever read it is so boring. Its about kids at school want to know something amazing I go to school everyday and they dont make that into a manga. So dont read this manga it is absolutely horrible.

Summary: The Kid Instructor Is a Magician!
Review: This is the eagerly awaited follow up series from the creator of Love Hina. There are certain similarities to that series, in that the lead boy often ends up in embarrassing situations with cute half naked girls. Plus, the lead girl here, Asuna, looks a lot like Naru, the heroine of Love Hina. But instead of a college ago boy, the hero this time is much younger. Negi Springfield is a (almost) ten year old magician from Wales. After graduating from magic academy, he is assigned to teach English at a girls middle school in Japan. Many humorous complications ensue, naturally. I liked this book a lot, but with 31 female students, readers may have a hard time keeping track of who's who as the story progresses. Some of the girls have hardly anything to do this time around; hopefully they will be fleshed out as the series continues. At least one of the girls appears to be a robot, but that isn't explicitly stated. I think anyone who liked Love Hina will enjoy this book as well.
