Summary: Not Pure, But Great All The Same!
Review: Alright, this book *as well as the rest in the series* isn't the best translation in the world, but it's really worth ones time to read it. I found this book really interesting and cute, excluding from the fact that they named off clothing in every single chapter, almost! That got annoying--- but other than that I loved it! (especially the scene with Darien in the entire Cruise Blues part---way better than the american version! )

Now some of you SailorMoon experts may be giving me a thumbs-down on this review because the book isn't pure, but lets face it! We live in America and since these are American companys, they are going to Americanize and butcher SailorMoon as we know it! We might as well let out a deep breath of air and say "Okay, there not going to change there evil ways of Americanizing so lets just give in and import the Japanse versions if it bothers us that much!"

I, personally love the Japanse anime and manga better than the ones Smile, Mixx, and Dic offer to us, but unless we all cult up and go take over there companys then we might as well get use to it....and besides as long as WE know the truth on the way things should go, then what harm can it do but show us insights of way things COULD be in the show right? I reccommend this book to everybody who likes SailorMoon, but I also reccomend everyone to explore all other SailorMoon possibilitys and not let one version block your views from the others.

Summary: A horrible book
Review: Another horrible american production of sailor moon. God! Come on already! Why most every anime be destroyed by being americanized? Why is it sooo wrong for there to be Japanese culture since after all, it is from Japan! This book was terrible! Every time I read the name Serena, I cringed. What's wrong with the name Usagi? So what if it doesn't sound American? Why is that so bad? And second of all the word scouts make me cringe. It's not scouts, they're not girl scouts..., it's senshi, sailor soilders... soilders! You want to read a real sailor moon book? then go buy the real Japanese manga, so what if you can't read it, there are translations on the internet! Another thing... what's up with the young adult catagory? It's made for 7 year olds!

Summary: Different than the anime
Review: First of all, they put in americanized expressions such as "you got it chick". And wasn't Tuxedo Kamen supposed to come at the end of the Sailor Mars episode? WAIT A MINUTE! TUXEDO KAMEN DIDN'T COME IN ANY OF THE THREE EPISODES IN THIS BOOK (when he was really supposed to)! Usagi was supposed to use her Luna Pen to get on the cruise ship to become a camera woman! Plus, they changed the endings a lot. They also put in too many americanized names. Scouts? Champion of justice? SERENA????? But worst of all... Negaverse. EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

Anyway, since I am a huge Sailor Moon (ehem, JAPANESE NOT DUB!) fan. Cuz, the DIC messed Sailor Moon up BIG TIME! So don't watch the dub or read the americanized books. Instead, watch the sub and read the manga. In other words, WATCH AND READ SAILOR MOON THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN!!!!

Summary: What I thought of this book
Review: I felt that this book was pretty helpful. However, I didn'tlike Ms. Sentar putting in all that romantic stuff that didn't happenin the televised American version, and I'm pretty sure not the Japanese version either. I think this book was well-written and funny. I paticularly enjoyed the fights between Serena and Raye and I am looking forward to read more about them. I just hope in future books the romantic parts (not occuring in the series) are minimized.

Summary: A good book
Review: I thought this was a terrific sailor moon book.

Summary: The red planet girl arrives.
Review: The last episode in this book{I saw it} and oh my god, was it terrible. I think the fact that the author makes the scouts more like us is cool. And she also puts in the funny parts, and doesn't make it boring like in the anime. I own both all the manga and all of the novels, and I like both.
In this, the enemy keeps invading by crusies, love charms, and fun parks. I guess Serena isn't happy about that. But fortunately, we meet the bossy Raye Hino who turns out to be Sailor Mars.
A great book worth reading.

Summary: MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK ARE. . .
Review: This book was a fun and exciting book to read! I thought it was cool! Like in all the other books there is a little romance, a little action, and a little drama! There is also some comedy! I would also like to say that this book is not in the form of a comic book form, like the new Sailor Moon series that is out! It is a chapter book, which is good for "younger" children's book reports. What I'm trying to say is if you like the comics only, this book is probably not for you. Unfortunately, it is a bit americanized, but it doesn't ruin the book. Overall, I think you should really consider buying this book if you're a SAILOR MOON fan! I hope I helped you make a decision toward buying this book. Happy reading!

Review: this sux. don't buy it. Sailor Moon is great, but this isn't Sailor Moon. If you want a good Sailor Moon book, check out the manga books. They're more money, but they're worth every penny.

Summary: DON'T WASTE YOUR $!
Review: Way too americanized! Did anyone notice those Nine inch nails, X-files, and Buffy posters that according to the book are hanging in Raye's room at the temple? Did you know that Serena shops at Gap and Old Navy? Or that according to this book Darien gives Serena a ticket to get on the cruse ship that Raye and Amy go on, instead of using her Luna Pen like in the Anime? How about that Darien wears Nautica cologne? These are just of the many stupid additions to the book. This book ( ) soooo bad! If you are a true SM fan,. don't waste your $ - buy the manga, watch the anime, they are a whole lot better!
