Summary: A charming look at the lives of a cat and dog's adventures.
Review: Part three of a series of books by Patrick McDonnell, this chapter takes us on the many adventures of Earl and Mooch the cat and dog and Ozzie, Millie, and Frank their owners. They take the reader on one adventure after another, creating havoc on the surface, and thoughtful responses from the reader. All of Patrick McDonnell's books have a special place in our home; his commentary on humanity has made us better inhabitants of this planet. A wonderful, inspiring series of books

Summary: One of the best around...
Review: Patrick McDonnell's "Mutts" is one of the best comics in the papers. Nothing could be finer then, than to have a book (or several) of the collected strips to peruse at one's leisure. "Mutts" is funny, warm, clever, honest, and this collection has been nicely printed. I was especially amused by the Sunday strips' clever references to comics of days gone by. I hope that in the future, colored collections will be available.

Summary: "Mutts" is a very creative and enjoyable comic!
Review: The comic strip of Mooch the cat and his friend, Earl the dog, is the funniest and most creative since Calvin and Hobbes. Patrick McDonnell cleverly teaches important life lessons and humaneness using good old-fashioned "shtick".

Summary: A warm, funny visit with Earl, Mooch, and the gang.
Review: This third collection of the wonderful "Mutts" comic strips will appeal to old fans and should convert new ones. Mr. McDonnell's compassion for all living things shines through in every panel. Earl the dog and Mooch the cat show us what best friends can really be. This book made me alternately laugh out loud and wipe tears from my cheeks. The deceptively simple art is brilliant and often includes homages to great strips of the past. If you have ever had a pet (even a fish) or wanted one, *you will love this book*! Give it to all your friends for Christmas.
