Summary: If you thought Ed Wood was a genius you'll LOVE this
Review: Okay, imagin a series of cartoon strips, drawn with exacting detail and attention to likneses, that takes on the overblown egos of yesteryears second rate celebrities. Satires in the book include Tor Johnson, Frank Sinatra Jr., Joe Franklin, William Bendix, Jackie Coogan, Shemp Howard, Ed Platt, Ed Wood, and Lou Costello Jr. (assuming he hadn't drowned in that pool at the age of 1) and many others. Robert Crumb called Drew Friedman "the Crumb of the '80s". I've read it a thousand times and still find new things to laugh at.
