Review: I just started liking Fushigi Yuugi. Now I'm obsessed.I have almost all of the DVD's. They worked really hard on this so BUY IT! *Cries* I can't make you. This show is really interesting. I reccomend the other books and DVD's. I also reccomend InuYasha. It's alot like FY.

Summary: Ehhh....
Review: I LOVE Fushigi Yugi, but this book wasn't my favorite... It was really dramatic, lots of action, and every page left you with a cliff hanger, but it was borderline cliche... I hope the next book gets back to the storyline, as this one was a big drawn out arguement over who ways gonna de-virginize (thats not even a WORD) Miaka. I would recomend this book to any FY fan, though. But don't let your parents read it... o.O; mine were like, "Er......soap opera?"

Summary: Ehhh....
Review: I own all the anime and am currently working my way through the manga. I just love this series, even though Miaka can be annoying. All the other characters make up for that! In this volume, Miaka is helped by someone she thought had died, and she is found by a Seiryu Celestial Warrior. Miaka ran away from Tamahome in the previous book (it seems like she's always running off - she really should learn better communication skills), because she thinks she is no longer a virgin, capable of being Priestess of Suzaku. Watase's artwork is beautiful, and I love the comments sections that she occaisionally adds on the side. There are even a few (only a few, so don't get your hopes up) extras in the book, such as a "What's so fushigi about Fushigi Yuugi?" comic strip. This volume is fairly late in the series, so I would recommend reading some of the earlier volumes first, but this series is really very good.

Summary: I love Fushigi Yugi
Review: The art work of Watase Yu is fabulous. The stroy is facinating. It made me laugh in places. Of cousrse it's funny considering your main characters are a 15 year old clueless junior high girl who is a glutton, a cute miser, a narasasic emporer and . . . I won't give it away. It's like Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi, in that the girl is taken back in time. Howere unlike Inuyasha, the girl is sucked into a book and is the hero of the story. In Inuyasha the main character time travels through a well. In this story Miaka becomes part of the story. I liked the paradies and the Manga talks. This is a great story. Even thought in palces in the translation they call Miaka the princess even though she is the priestess (Suzaku no Miko). But besides that it was wonderful. I definatly recomend this one. The anime is good but the manga is way better. Its a good story and it has lots of cute guys.

Summary: its awesome but sad
Review: This story is one of the best vols I have read, in the begining miaka and her friend yui are like sucked into this book that they find in the library at the restricted area, there they land in this mysterious world and there they meet some bandits that want some trouble and this vewry tall handsome man shows just in time to rescue miaka and yui, very very cute guy!! and there they are transported back to their world where they have ot face entrance exams, later on miaka has a fight with her mother and goes to the library and gets sucked again and there she goes searching for that handsome man (that's what I like to call him for now).while she is searching she meets up with a trader and asks her if she needs a ride?and of course she agrees, meanwhile that cute guy is eating when he hears two people talking about this girl, and he thinks hey lets go,meanwhile it was a trick and miaka gets stuck in acorner where there are men surrounding her when she uses her arm to knock out the guys but then one trys to..and hero comes to the rescue!!she thanks hime but does not want ot leave him and he asks her if she can get 2gems from the box by the emperor, well one of the guard try to kill her and the hero again comes to rescue her, well he says his name is tamahome and her name is is miaka, there they are captured and then they escape and this cute man who miaka thinks is a woman, asks her who she is and she says she is from another world and he says in shock could that be!! soon enough they hear some guards with tamahome and they are intending to capture her when the man says you are not allowed to touch her or him well they get invited,he tells his name which is hotohori, he explains for her suzuka and all how he is the second celestial warrior and tamahome which is obviously the first, and later on they meet the third celestial warrior, which is nuriko who develops a crush on tamahome, later hothori tries to kiss miaka but does not suceed, and there miaka confesses that she is falling in live with tamahome and tamahome says that...he is sorry but he doesn't have the same feelings for her!!i ccan't believe he would say that!! but I recommend this book for every one!!

Summary: Exquisite artwork, and captivating story
Review: Yu Watase has to be my favorite manga artist of all time because her illustrations are beautifully detailed. This series is a mythical tale of the adventures of Miaka (aka Suzaku no Miko)and her gorgeous (**drools** ^_~) seishi as they try to summon the god Suzaku. In this installment Miaka must find a way out of the book, Hotohori's attempts to gain Miaka's love continue, the hiliarious truth about Nuriko is revealled (if you really want to enjoy this DON'T GET SPOILERS - I did, and do I ever regret it!) Tamahome realizes his true feelings for Miaka, and Yui gets lost inside the story. If you are looking for a manga with beautiful pictures, romance, humour, plenty of bishonen, war, frienship and betrayal (in other words a GREAT story) get this series. You won't regret it.
