Review: Following up on his fetish sensation, The Transformations of Gwen, Eric Kroll has again created a dreamworld where Gwen (his real life girlfriend) takes center stage acting out several series' of ultra-erotic fantasies.

Throughout the book's 80 pages Gwen engages in a wide variety of kinky exploits including the 'punishment shave' of a young virgin, dominatrix sex with a bad boy, a honey-bath with a girlfriend, and more ...much more. Some of the imagery contained within is so potently sexual, so completely engrossing, that it defies explanation. The full-page photos of the beautiful young Nimese engaged in a fetish threesome absolutely blew me away.

Kroll utilizes a more "photo-realistic" approach here when compared with some of his previous works, which could be said to be more "artsy". The effect, I believe, serves to better draw us into the scenes being played out. We can actually be there, in the same room, watching Gwen exert her sexual mastery over Rick - listening, breathing, and yearning. Yes, Eric Kroll does it again.

Summary: a very interesting book
Review: i was waiting a long time for this to come out, and now that it has, i have to say that it's a very interesting book the scenes are alaborated and spasific and the book advance in a very good pace, though i have enjoied the first one much much more. there was somthing about the simplicity of fantasy and the obbsessive focuse on gwen that worked better for me.

this book's a lot less minimal, which makes the whole experience of it less intence in my opinion. some of the photostories are great, i loved the one about the shaved young lesbian and the fe photos of gwen rolling around black sand, but some of it, like gwen and the honey covered girl and the one of gwen doing it with this black guy were a little superficial and even too pornographic for me.

it's still a must have for any kroll fan and it's very interesting to look at, but there's a sense of incompletement in it and sexualy speaking i have enjoied it less then the first one.

Review: Perhaps best known through his work with the Taschen publishing house, Eric Kroll remains not only a master of his craft, as even the casual reader of 'Fetish Girls' must concur, but also through his commentaries in so many of Taschen's erotic titles, as a true connossieur of a beauty that refuses to conform to the mainstream. 'The Transformations of Gwen' series means that Kroll has found the freedom to work entirely on his own terms, with his partner, the eponymous and lovely Gwen and a circle of like minded friends. The results are exquisite, to the point of breath taking. If you think that the photograph could never do justice to the illustrations found in Willie's Bizarre or the canon of Eric Stanton, then guess again. Kroll, relying on the most artful of settings and the most appealling of models, more than emulates the pen and ink masters that came before him. Everything found within these books, falls into place effortlessly, as through his eyes, he undertakes an exploration upto the boundaries of desire, to the limits of his and Gwen's imaginations.
It is not my place to reveal specifically what goes on within 'Transformations'; for those pleasures, you really must buy this book. However, I will say that the scenes between Gwen and the initiate Truen, are truly spellbinding as her young charge succumbs to the irrestible will and undoubted charms of Kroll's muse. A truly modern classic and, as the old saying goes, 'a thing of beauty is a joy forever'.

Review: The Greeks described them, the Romantics worshipped them, artists have always needed them and Eric Kroll has now found his perfect Muse. All of us who collect his books benefit.
I have been following with interest the published work of Kroll since his landmark 1977 book "Sex Objects".
I am repeatedly amazed/aroused with each new body of work.
The arrival of Gwendoline into his life has freed him as never before. These are more than photographs. Kroll seems to be on a journey of his own soul, as interesting a writer as photographer.
Volume 2 is even better than Volume 1 if possible. Kroll keeps finding marvelous locations, situations and personalities to expand his vision. The Black Sand series is an instant classic and makes the book essential all on its own.
I've made room on my shelves for at least 10 future volumes of the Transformations of Gwen. A person can dream...
The publiser Amerotica Photo is to be commended as are Kroll and the unforgettably beautiful and tantalizing icon....... Gwen!
