Summary: You thought Ranma had a problem...
Review: Futaba was having a normal life. He had a girl he had a crush on. He was on the high school wrestling team and seemed to be doing well. Till the family secret caught up with him.
It seems that when members of his family get excited they change gender. So, when he gets excited he turns into a VERY voluptous girl.
Now his team wants this new female student on the team, he can't be near the girl he likes without getting excited and his sister's male half just WANTS his female half.
Just as fun as Ranma, but with a new twist.

Summary: Excellent book, but not the first!
Review: I bought this book after having heard of the series, and how good it was. I agree it's good, but this is NOT the first book, but the sixth.I bought this one after buying what I thought was the first, and was the fourth.

Summary: Huh? How did I get to here?
Review: I clicked on alternate editions of Futaba:Not for Sale, and somehow I got led here. Anyway, assuming I did order this one, Misaki, who Futaba has become enamored with, has become seriously wounded. To help her, Futaba gave her a transfusion of his blood, and Misaki also experiences the genetic change of this family. I'm not sure whether this is temporary side effect, or something permanent, as I haven't read further in the series.

Summary: Here comes Futaba...
Review: I have long been a fan of Ranma 1/2, and was reluctant to try Futaba-kun Change because I thought that it would be too similar to Ranma. I was wrong. There are really no similarities between the two, only differences that make both stories enjoyable.

Like Ranma, Futaba changes genders at random moments. But whereas Ranma has to use hot or cold water, Futaba changes with stress or emotional excitement.

By the time the ninth or tenth book roles around, almost everyone knows that Ranma-chan and Ranma-kun are the same person, just two different sides. Futaba is enrolled in the school as two separate people, boy and girl. This is bound to cause confusion, especially since the same name is used for both.

And while Ranma is a disciple of the Anything Goes martial art style, Futaba is a wrestler. And the male team wants Futaba-chan (the girl) for their teammate, not realizing that they already have Futaba in their group!

Oh, did I mention that EVERYONE in Futaba's father's family changes gender as well? His dad goes to a woman (you'll find out who later on), and his sister turns into a very...obsessed man. We have yet to see the mother.

Anyway, get this book! I think you'll like it! (I'm pretty sure you'll like it if you like Ranma 1/2)
