Summary: Awesome Keeps you on your toes
Review: I can't get over the fact that my favorite part is the release of the HERO'S(you'll understand once you read it)!! I always have enjoyed mass fights where everything is on the line. In this book it happens. Alternate Parkers, Aliya found once again, A group of Evil X-Men, a Good Magneto, and of course Kang. This book has them all! I must say it was quite a bit better than the first book and I thought it was good. Well happy reading!!

Review: I don't know if it was the addition of castro or what, but the second edition of this trilogy is most definately better than the first. The first read like a comic book (don't get me wrong, i enjoy comics, it's just that they need pictures). THis one was more like a novel...I hope to see an improvement with the third in the series...maybe all the characters (and not just Bishop and Spider-Man) will become three-dimensional. Definately on the right track.

Summary: Parker vs. Parker is _fantastic_!
Review: I don't know what I liked better in this excellent book, the Spidey/Bishop banter in the alternate universe, or the confrontation between the two Peter Parkers, which was just _amazing_. The "main" universe stuff was okay (I loved the Beast telling the Rhino he should rename himself "the Hippo"), but the alternate universe was brilliant. Great stuff!

Review: I guess I wrote something about the series for the first book, but I want this to stop popping up on recommended books so I'm writing another review. If you want to know what I said, check book one in the series.

Review: If you thought the time travel thing was going nowhere in the first book, this book really developes it. I liked this book a lot and I can not wait to read the final part.

Book two was great in that we learn what it would be like if the x-men were on "the other side" against what they are fighting for everyday in the real marvel universe. My problem with this and every other marvel book I have read, with the exception of Peter David's Hulk novel, is that there needs to be more intricate dialogue between the characters. We get enough of the fighting in the comics. With the novels, there is a chance to explore deep into these characters and provide some very interesting storylines and dialogue. These are novels for adult readers, and it is time for someone to step up to the plate and write an adult novel. These are great concepts, yet there is definitely something missing. Peter David, please write another marvel novel!!!!!

Summary: This is a great book ppacked with non stop action!
Review: Spidey and Biship are stuck in an alternant universe with the TDC shot.and the X-Men are faced with fighting their way through Kang's setup.This is one of the best trilogy I have read and The Present stands out brightly among them . It is a great page turner and I highly recomend it.

Summary: Like looking into a blackened mirror...
Review: The parts of this novel that centered on Spider-Man and Bishop in the alternate reality were very interesting, and at the same time very disturbing. The X-Men have taken over much of America, if not the world, and imprisoned any superhuman that refuses to get with their program. Peter Parker is a selfish jerk (apparently) who used his powers to gain fame and fortune as revenge on everyone (Flash Thompson in particular) who ever mistreated him in his pre-spider-powered existence. The most disturbing thing about it all is that everyone in the alternate Parker's life is happy as can be, and even Eddie Brock is still a respected (I think) reporter. Of course, this gets our Spidey back into the whole "Spider-Man is a curse on everyone I love" funk. In the end, he gets over it, and is pleasantly surprised when he realizes that the other Parker is more like him than he thought.
