Rating: Summary: Beautiful Chaos Review: I remember hearing rumors about Kissing Chaos when it was first published. When Oni announced they were releasing a collection of the first series, I suddenly became entrenched in intrigue. I ran out and bought most of the issues, unable to wait for the trade. The story and art were fascinating. A great deal of the events and characters are shrouded in mystery, which adds a huge ammount to the epic nature of the tale. This collection is well-worth a close look. First, it collects the entire first storyarc into one book. Second, it has a bunch of backup stories orginally printed online and at conventions. It also features Dela-Cruz's sketchbook and a how-to on his coloring technique. Finally, the unique size of the graphic novel makes it look just like a paperback novel, so no one knows you're reading comics! I am in eager anticipation of the next collection.

Rating: Summary: Best Comic i've read in a while Review: I'm not a huge comic collector, but this stands out as the best series I own. The story is well written and the artwork is amazing, creating a great book about kids running away from the law. Reading it, you will get the feeling that this could be easily turned into a film, or be right out of a regular novel, which makes it great to buy even if you don't normally read comics or graphic novels. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, whether you own a huge collection of action comics and appreciate great graphic novels, or if you've never really liked comics and was looking to just start getting into them. After reading this one several times over, it seems clear that Arthur Dela Cruz will soon become a big name in the comic world.

Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: Kissing Chaos is a fantastic, twisted, hilarious tale of three people who are going through an adventure. I highly recomend this TPB. There are some WONDERFUL drawings in this book. Some very top-notch, unique stuff! The writing/story telling is also great! It keeps you coming back for more and more, and never loses your interest. It reads very much like an episode of a tv series. Don't miss out!
Rating: Summary: just plain, pure goodness!!! thanks adc! Review: okay, so this is the ENTIRE first story of a comic called Kissing Chaos (obviously). it's about these kids who get into some involved escapades, both on the mental and physical scale, such as boosting a car, being chased, getting carjacked, and just surviving the throes of modern day relationships. if you like a good (read: great) drama story, bonnie and clyde, sid and nancy, or any of the like, just blindly get this, you WILL NOT be disappointed, what with the FANTASTIC art and story by arthur, and NO MORE THAN ONE BOOK TO BUY for this story...what else could you want? none of the muss and fuss of trying to find several books to keep up with a story you're interested in. personally, that's a BIG plus. i picked it up the day it came out for that reason, i couldn't find all the individual issues b/c they were in SUCH HIGH DEMAND in my area. that should be your indicator right there. but yes, a worthwhile purchase, and like a director's cut dvd, you get extra stuff that wasn't in the issues, such as sketch pages by adc, additional story (deleted scene, if you will), and it's just not a bad buy, there's no other way i can say it, hence, this is...the end of my review.

Rating: Summary: Kissing for dummies... Review: The best book on how to kiss I've ever read!! No, just kidding. This graphic novel collects the first miniseries from Oni Press, one of my favorite comic publishers in America. Kissing Chaos follows three teens on the run from the authorities for unknown reasons, trying to escape unknown pursuers and heading for an unknown desination. There is a great feeling of elusive mystery in this book, and as many questions that are answered in the final issues, there are still questions that are un-answered. However, there is enough going on in the foreground, and enough character development and interaction, and the surreal, mysterious quality works very well. Visually, the grey tones adorning Arthur Dela Cruz's hybrid of digital and traditional art add to the experience. This is a very atmospheric work and I must say one of the best comic book experiences of the year. Can't wait to see what else Arthur has up his sleeve! I definitely reccomend this book. Give it a try. I guarentee you will like it. Hey, if you don't like it you can always give it to a friend.

Rating: Summary: Beautiful from cover to cover Review: This book blew me away. The art and storytelling are so complimentary, it makes the experience of reading this trade paperback truly amazing. The art was definitely the first aspect that drew me in, then the story pulled me closer and wouldn't let go. I highly recommend checking this out. Arthur Dela Cruz is a rare talent, this artist excells at more than one medium, and this read is surely proof of that. I found myself lingering on pages long after reading the words, taking in the art. Then, found myself later to be thinking about the words I had just read and considering all the twists and turns that had happened. Wonderful. Enjoy this book.
