Summary: Better then the first
Review: I felt that this second book pulled a lot of my hopes for the Characters together and it really made me want to read the entire serries. This was a great read and I read it in about a day!

Summary: What a wonderful time to be a Christian lover of fiction!
Review: For so many years, a Christian's only real option to read quality Christian literature was to read the marevelous C.S. Lewis. I feel blessed in the the last couple of years with the outpouring of quality literature now available. What's more, the different books are all very different. Left Behind is a wonderful introduction to the theology behind the End Times and a great series for all ages. We All fall down is a great book for more mature, intellegent Christians who wsnt to explore the individual ramifications of the End Times and the one on one relationship of a man who has fallen away from God. The Christ Clone Trilogy is a thrilling, Tom Clancey like look at these events, full of unexpected twists and turns. I know some people like to argue the various merits of these books as compared to each other, but I think they are all worth reading and feel lucky to finally have such a wide variety of GREAT Christian literature available.

Summary: Another great title
Review: If you are a fan of this series then hands-down you have to have this book. Lahaye and Jenkins never let us down with their works. And in lieu of recent events, what better time to read more into your faith? Great topic, 100% great read. Take your time and explore the Left Behind series.

Summary: Spellbound!
Review: This book was given to me by a friend at work to read. While she knows i love to read, she doesn't always bring me the best material. This time she was dead on! At first I didn't think this kind of book would be up my alley but I found hard to put down once I picked it up. I read it in three days, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough while reading it and when I was done with it I popped right on to Amazon to pick up the next in the series! I'm sure you will too! The only flaw I could find was that the leading characters seemed to lack something I haven't quite put my finger on yet. The romance between Buck and Chloe seems a little obivious and the story would not suffer if the authors had chosen to eliminate it all together.

Summary: Slow but insightful
Review: Trib Force was extemely slow, there wasn't a lot of action and adventure, however the ground was laid for the rest of the series. I think neccessary questions were answered. It gave human insight into romance, fear and making deals with the devil. Without giving the story away, I say it is a must read if you plan on using this series to minister to other people. You need to understand the since of genuine turmoil and how it affects relationships. Remeber these people still have 7 years on earth to look forward too, they are going to be lonely, afraid, and hungry for knowledge. I feel the book did an excellent job of story telling.

Summary: interesting
Review: I realize that there are christian who want to critize this series but for people like me and people i met this is a real easy way to create images of wht could be knowing that it is not a story stight from the bible! I have tried to imagine what could happen, wht it could be like. I do not necessarily agree but it gives somehting to work with. What I do know is that God tells we will not know the day, the hour or the minute. I do not belie that if we spend out time reading these books, checking the bible for what was said that we would be wasting out time. I guess if you do not like this series that you read something else and let us who do come to our conculsions. The fact one of the reviews stated that this is non-catholic. Iam a former catholic and I can tell you that if it was written to impress the catholics - I would not read it.

Summary: Left behind
Review: I believe that some of the reviews I've read have left me praying for their souls. These books were not meant to be an interruptation of the bible. I beleive they were written in hopes that it would give some of us a picture, a possibility of what could happen. They were written to promt our hearts to ask questions. No I am a former catholic, from a very strick catholic family and I can tell you they believe that all you have to do to get to heaven is be catholic. This story line would be hard to write from start. The actions of the actors are described in the best way possible. We do not know what will happen! When it will happen! But have you not wondered what it would be like to be here and find those who have disappeared are your mom and dad, wife or son. How would you feel? What would you think? Who oould you listen to in a time of panic. Possibly someone with the power to make you think the way he thinks! Is that not waht the devil has done in all our lives at on time or another. I for one am not reading this series as an interrputation of the bible. But I am allowing God to use the books to bring questions to my heart that I might have an idea of what I might do or belive or trust if this would happen while I am alive. Let God use these books to guide you, to inform you or to maybe lead you to christ. See the movis - its good to!

Summary: Tribulation Force
Review: Rayford Steele and Cameron("Buck") Williams find themselves pressed into service for the man they believe could be the Antichrist. Nicholae Carpathia takes over the United Nations, signs a peace treaty with Israel, and begins to lure the nations of earth together to form one global village. Meanwhile, the judgment of God begins to fall on the earth. Buck and Rayford, along with their pastor and Rayford's daughter, must fight to stay alive and battle the forces of evil in the strength.

When authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins first imagined Left Behind, their goal was to create "...the first fictional portrayal of events that are true to the literal interpretation of Bible prophecy." Set against the backdrop of the Rapture, in which Jesus returns as He promises to gather his followers and remove them from this world, the characters in Tribulation Force must confront life without their loved ones, struggle with evil unleashed on the world, and embrace God's truth for themselves.

A pilot Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe, a journalist Buck Williams, and a pastor Bruce Barnes band together to study the Bible, pray, and support one another through this time of terror and uncertainty. They realize that Nicolae Carpathia is the prophesied Antichrist, as they watch him consolidate his power.

Buck and Rayford find themselves employees of Nicolae, keeping their faith in Jesus secret so that they can continue to work and share their faith unhindered while secretly fighting the Antichrist with the other members of the tribulation force. The force's task is clear and their goal is nothing less than to stand and fight the enemies of God during the seven most chaotic years the planet will ever see. Realistic portrayal of the characters made me feel part of the "force" fighting the enemies of God but wishing I had vanished. "This book just starts and sets the stage for the third book" says Tim Lahaye.
