Summary: Rather than a synopsis, my actual OPINION
Review: This book is incredible. Just as engaging and well written with facts as you can get. A few suggestions, read Left Behind before picking this up...without it, you'll be lost. I also like to keep my copy of the Bible on hand so I can make references to what comes before and after the biblical quotes used in the book. Overall, this is a compelling series with solid information on what could actually happen.

Summary: Another great book in this series
Review: At the end of Left Behind the 4, people who made up the Tribulation Force promised that they would learn more about the Rapture and how to help people understand it.

Chloe, Rayford, Bruce and Buck are back and they learning the bible and how they can fight the Rapture and survive in the process. After Buck had problems in New York he is transferred in Chicago to work in the Chicago branch, it is here where he feels happy because he is close to the member of the Tribulation Force, but he is also happy to be near Chloe.

Rayford is struggling in his life to get the point of the Rapture across to people, but some of those people he try's to meet him with a struggle and he realize that things in life might no be as simple as he thinks they are.

Chloe is struggling to get settled down in Chicago, but when Bruce offers her the chance to teach the Rapture to people she jumps at the chance.

Each Buck and Rayford receive messages from the all might Carpathia with offers that make each of them think about the future and how this might affect it and how they can help change things in the world.

In this book, each of the characters grows up and starts to learn more of next 7 years of the Rapture they will go through. When the first part of the Rapture starts to happen, the group starts to realize how much they are in for.

This was a great book, and I look forward to reading more from this wonderful series.

Summary: A nice anti-Catholic book
Review: The authors of this book claim they are not anti-Catholic. When I heard this I decided that I'd go ahead and read it because it sounded interesting. This book starts its blast against Catholics on page 53,"A lot of Catholics were confused, because while many remained, some had disappeared-including the new pope, who had been installed just a few months before the vanishings. He had stirred up controversy in the church with a new doctrine that seemed to coincide more with the 'heresy' of Martin Luther than with the historic orthodoxy they were used to." The narrative continues with the characer called Buck trouncing all over a Catholic that he is interviewing. Buck at one point cites Ephesians 2:8-9,"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Apparently this doesn't phase the author that this passage is more in line with Catholic theology rather then Luther's "faith alone" theology but apparently that doesn't matter.

So in a nut shell if you are Catholic, according to these books, you can't be saved unless you renounce your Catholic faith first. I guess it is considered a bone tossed to Catholics to have the Pope renounce his faith for Martin Luther's faith and thus be "saved". Apparently Catholics are wrong about being Christians. Jesus apparently is also wrong, according to these books, that hypocrites won't make it into Heaven.

I did give it three stars for the interesting subject matter.

Summary: When is anything ever going to happen?
Review: The series was based on an intriguing topic, but the author took so disgustingly long to say anything the only thing left in the series was suspense, and the only suspense was: WHEN IS ANYTHING EVER GOING TO HAPPEN??

Summary: Thumbs Up!
Review: Tribulation Force was beyond a doubt one of the best sci-fi books I've ever read in my entire life. This is actually the first Chrisitian novel I've ever read. I have to admit that I was quite impressed. Since reading this book I've taken quite a fondness to Christian Fiction and I can't seem to get enough of it. It just goes to show you how one can be really and truly inspired by just reading a good book with a prophetic word.

Tim La Haye and Jerry B. Jenkins did a magnificent job on depicting the scenes from the book of Revelation. The book was an easy read and the charachters were well created and enjoyable. It goes to prove that a book doesn't have to be about sex, violence, and profanity in order to be a good book. I look foward to kicking back, relaxing and reading the rest of the series.

Summary: 19 STARS! AMAZING!! BEST BOOK EVER!!
Review: Tribulation Force is the best book in the Left Behind series, and the best book of all time [at least to me it is]!! It continues where Left Behind ended, describing the characters more, and showing how life has become since the Rapture. Buck and Rayford get job offers working for Carpathia, and Chloe and Bruce work together at the church. This book focuses mostly on Buck and Chloe's relationship [or lack of] and on pressures Rayford and Buck face because they work for Carpathia. Although some people say the romance is corny, I think that it's sweet enough for you all to enjoy reading. A death of a close friend at the end will leave you in tears, and keep you on the edge of your seat for the next installment of Left Behind. An AWESOME READ!! p.s.>> ben judah's character is introduced, and 2 couples get married!

Summary: Must Read...
Review: This is the second book in the series. It is just as awesome as the first. Rayford Steele joins with Buck Williams, Bruce Barnes and Chloe Steele to form the Tribulation Force. He now knows why and how his family disappeared with millions around the world. The Tribulation Force is ready to fight the enemies of God. Both Believers and Non-Believers will be on the edge of your seat as this page turner draws you into one of the greatest stories written. This is a must read!

Summary: Best of the first three...
Review: Well I've finished the first three books and this one is definately the best of the three. It's exciting, it's suspenseful, it's spiritual, it's emotional, it's everything! I swear I felt the spirit while I was reading it. I see things a bit differently because I'm not a born again Christian, but I definately feel like these books have come forth at this time in the History of Humanity for a reason. Whatever can be done to get people more prepared for the second coming can't be a bad thing in my opinion. Also, it is so good it's a quick read, I finished it in 3 days I think.

Summary: Lovely!
Review: This book gave me a wonderful feeling of hope. Despite the horror in which it is set, this hope shines through in the lives of Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Bruce.
Apart from the Antichrist storyline, I loved the developing relationship between Buck and Chloe. I couldn't stop smiling over "the flowers are in the trash" misunderstanding!
I enjoyed this one more than "Left Behind", and will definitely be reading the third in the series.

Summary: The Left Behind Series
Review: There will be no hiding place for Christians during the tribulation. The time to get saved is before the rapture not after. It seems as though the Christian characters live on easy street. The Tribulation period is no joke. (You either take Satan's mark or die.) Other than that I feel that the Left Behind series deserves two thumbs up!!
