Summary: Still good, but disappointing as falls into romance plot
Review: I found this to be an entertaining book, although not to the same degree as the first. I enjoyed the story line and felt that generally it more than kept my interest. As with other readers, both my wife and I felt the story dragged at times with regard to the love affair. We trudged through those sections, however, knowing that the rest of the novel was worthwhile. I look forward to read the following sequels, with the hope that the love affair will be downplayed as the story goes on.

Summary: Not all it's cracked up to be.
Review: This book is the second volume of a projected six-part series, culminating with a release in the year 2000 to tie in with millennium fever and end-times interest.

Sadly, to contradict all of the fans who gave this book rave reviews, this book is a disappointment. What starts out as an exciting premise degenerates into a formulaic romance novel. The characters that start out valiantly banding against the forces of evil soon get sidetracked by each other.

Furthermore, in an effort to pander to a Christian audience, the authors have sanitized their novel to the point of unbelievability: the two main characters who fall in love with each other, a journalist in his mid-thirties and a college student, just happen to both be virgins. Not that this isn't possible, but it stretches the limits of credulity.

In fact, what keeps the protagonist from succumbing to the tempting wiles of the antichrist is not God, willpower or ethics--it's thoughts of his sweetheart. The authors seem to suggest that the answer to overcoming apocalyptic evil is to have a girlfriend. Is this a likely scenario for someone facing the end of the world?

Undoubtedly fans have been sucked into this story enough to want to buy this book and its forthcoming sequels. Too bad the series suffers from poor writing, plastic characterization and a hokey plot. One only hopes that if the end of the world is nigh, we will have better authors to chronicle it for us.

Summary: I loved both books!
Review: I read both Left Behind and Tribulation Force in less than an week. Being a newer Christian and having never read Revelations, it really opened my eyes. Now I want to read Revelations and really study what will happen after the Rapture...because I will not be here.
I recommend this book to all Christians and all non Christians...this will open your eyes to what can and will happen.

Summary: Outstanding - - page-turner - - must reading
Review: Most readers of Left Behind probably have already read this book, but if you did read Left Behind, you must get this book soon because the third book will be out this fall and you don't want to get behind. For those who don't have Left Behind, these books outline the last years of the Planet Earth per the Holy Bible. This is a set of novels outlining what happen to ordinary people at the most extraordinary moment in human history. During the Great Tribulation that is foretold in the Bible, many awesome events occur impacting those people left behind after Jesus returns to take the church out of the world. See how the world would operate in the absence of a true Christian Community. Thrilling reading. Hair raising as well. A great summer read.

Summary: The best glimpse in to the future that I won't be here for.
Review: Before Left Behind came out I read another book called the Third Millenium by Paul Meyer. The Meyer book seemed to have been written more to prove the writers' theory on when Christ would return and why (statistically) instead of giving the reader a story that they were drawn directly into like Left Behind. I read Left Behind in 3 days. I felt so much a part of the book that I felt I might miss something if I put it down for too long. This book made me think more of what people will actually go through after the Rapture and how much I don't want to be a part of those Left Behind. The sequel, Tribulation Force, probably rates an 8 or 9, because it seemed to be trying to cover a larger time period in the limited space of this book and one more sequel. In all, I can't wait to read the sequel to the sequel

Summary: Excellent and engrossing reading!
Review: Excellent and engrossing reading! I am not given to reading Christian Novels but this particular book was given to me by my grandmother and I didn't put it down until I had finished it. read Left Behind but enjoyed this book more. Came to Amazon hoping to find more sequels but I guess I will have to wait with baited breath for more

Summary: Great book!!!
Review: Not as good as Left Behind, but Tribulation Force is still a great book. It was very hard to put down even though the reading did get a little dry at couple points. Waiting for the next!!!!

Summary: This chilling story will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Review: In their end-times novel, Left Behind...Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins told the story of those who were left behind as millions of people all of the world disappeared when Christ came for believers. In Tribulation Force, the authors pick up the story of Rayford, Chloe, Bruce and Buck who have formed the Tribulation Force...This chilling story will keep you on the edge of your seat

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "...the best of the recent crop of Christian novels."
Review: "In this gripping sequel, the authors have drawn a chilling picture of the period following the Rapture-the Tribulation, when God will judge the earth through a series of catastrophes and the Antichrist will reign...The ensuing struggle between the forces of good and evil is tense, intriguing, and suspensful. This is a satisfying apocalyptic thriller...Along with the authors' previous, it is the best of the recent crop of Christian novels."

Summary: An excellent sequel to Left Behind - a must read for anyone!
Review: This book is an excellent sequel to another great, Left Behind. I believe this series illustrates the coming events in earth's future and challenges audiences who may or may not be Christian. I recommend this book for those interested in Bible prophecy or those simply interested in a riveting novel. One question: When is the next sequel going to appear on the shelves
