Summary: You won't want to put this one down once you start reading!
Review: Tribulation Force is the second installment in the Left Behind series. The books are written in a consecutive storyline following the lives of Buck, Ray, Chloe, Rabbi Ben-Judah and many others you will come to know as the story unfolds. LaHaye and Jenkins make a captivating novel out of the end-times prophecies found in the Bible. You won't find a more graphic and intense action adventure series than LEFT BEHIND - TRIBULATION FORCE. I was given the set of the first four in the series for Christmas 99. I had all four devoured by the time New Years was over. Since then, I've read 5 and 6. Number 7 is due out in May 2000. I can't wait! Tribulation Force is a group of everyday people who find themselves in an extraordinary situation: The rapture has occurred and they are Left Behind. You will be entranced with haunting experiences of those left behind and how they deal with their pain and move forward in their lives. This is a must read for every believer! Even if you're not a believer, you'll enjoy the book! It is well written, enthralling, and FUN!

Summary: Sequellitis
Review: I am a Big fan of the first book Left Behind. The very best part of the book is the first few chapters. Tribulation force is a continuation of Left Behind and it seems to lose a bit of its magic. Because I feel involved with the original characters made me enjoy this book more than I otherwise would have. Still quite interesting and provocative. You will only want to read this one if you really loved the first. Don't buy this if you think it will just get better.

Summary: Don't stop here!
Review: God bless these authors. But you must read "Transfer-the end of the beginning" by best selling novelist Jerry Furland. Furland has written a book that will hammer even the hardest heart that God's Word will prevail. Please pass this author on to your loved ones. All three of these talented writers will win many, many souls to true repentance and salvation. Each have a place on my shelves and in my heart.

Summary: Excellent effort, decidedly so.
Review: These are the only books I have seen that can sit side by side with Jerry Furland's "Transfer-the end of the beginning". I have to say though, while these are entertaining and exciting, so is Furland, but Furland adds the extra dimension of making you really believe it is possible...

Summary: Here's your character development
Review: In this book, the authors almost "over-develope" the main characters for you. You will appreciate this later as you journey through the books that follow. You get to know the very thought processes of the Tribulation Force members as they confront relationships, career changes, and dirty tricks. The strongest element of this book for me was the explanation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the 144,000 Jewish converts, and the Two Witnesses. You might find yourself making copious marginal notes in your Bible (as I did) from this book to further enhance your understanding of this part of Revelations.

Summary: If you think this is good, read The Last Day . . .
Review: I read Left Behind, Assassins and Tribulation before I took a friend's recommendation and read another Judgment Day novel, Glen Kleier's The Last Day, which is INFINITELY better. There is vastly more story, provocative thought and soul rattling frights in The Last Day than in any of the above mentioned Jenkins/LaHaye books. That stuff is Judgment Day light in comparison and never delivers the deeper message and tensions that Last Day does. If you must read all these books, do yourself a favor and read them BEFORE you read Last Day, or you'll never go back to them. Last Day gives the whole experience that these lightweight attempts miss.

Summary: Excellent book. I would recommend it highly.
Review: This book combines good writing and an unbeatable plot: the "worldly" people left behind meet the End of Time. Do they believe what is happening around them? If not, why not? With such abundant proof available, it bears remembering that some people will deny what is staring them in the face. The only thing is, you don't have to wait until The Rapture to answer the call to Christ. Look around you; you will see enough evidence if you are willing to open your eyes. This book is an excellent extension of what may happen. I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Disappointing follow-up to "Left Behind #1"
Review: This was a pretty okay read. The early struggle between Chloe and Buck was ridiculous, tiresome and sloooooooow. Some of the other subplots going on didn't flow overly well, and the political aspects didn't seem very plausable. I did enjoy reading about the 2 witnesses, and for a while, that aspect of the story kept my interest.

Summary: This book stands by itself as very fun and captivating
Review: This book deserves 5 stars when comparing it to the majority of other novels. Although it's not as good as the first, what book can be?

This is an excellent book for all audiences, and I would and have recommended it to friends. This is a book that is not only fun to read but will help you in your relationship with Christ.

Summary: bored already!
Review: while i will admit that this story is better than the first, it still leaves so much to be disired. the thing that really upsets me is that there is such a GOOD BOOK in this story, but again, this is not it. nothing really happens until the last one hundred pages or so, and even then, it jumps 18 months for no reason other than the authors couldnt fill in that space. i do believe there are to be seven of these books...why on earth would you jump 18 months only to go back and fill us all in on the developing love story between not only buck and chloe, but rayford and his new wife? i think one thing that would improve this series is more characters! now they introduce what seems to be a key character in reflections? ill tell you why they did it this way....they themselves were bored!
