Summary: EHH, its alright..
Review: I read the first book and founf it suspenseful and entertaining. Same with the second one.. These arent normally the kinds of books i would read, they are a bit preachy and sometimes present the catholic branch of christianity in a somewhat negative light, nothing too bad, tough they definitely show a protestant bias against catholicism. Other than that i have few complaints. If you aren't into christian preachy books, these probably arent the books for you. The tale of the characters is what keeps me coming back, though the preachiness of the books is somewhat a turnoff for me, the books well written and that makes up for it. Though i dont know how ill like the later books as they get into the really hardcore literalist interpretation of revelation and other scripture.

Summary: Very good follow up to Left Behind
Review: This book continues where Left Behind leaves off. While it is not quite as strong as the first book, it does have several great moments. I thoroughly recommend the reader read the series in order since otherwise one would become lost in the timeline.

Summary: If you bought the book, donate it to charity!
Review: I thought the first book, Left Behind, had potential but I was wrong. Tribulation Force just gets truly ridiculous. All of the characters are really annoying expecially the female characters! They're so passive with little or no personalities to them. In other words, they have no use in the book. I also find the relationship between Buck and Chloe just laughable! They act like stupid teenagers rather than serious adults. I'm beginning to like Nicolae. At least, he has a purpose. It was so bad that I wished that all of these so-called good christians died from these deadly events. I wanted to cry not because of the plot but that I actually spent money on this low-quality writing. Don't these authors know the difference between adult and children fiction? At times, I thought I was reading my little sister's book!

Summary: Great Continuation to Left Behind
Review: This is a great contginuation to the first book in the Left Behind series, "Left Behind"

It chronicles the 2 witnesses and the 144,000 who will follow. It is also about the start of the 7 year period od supposed peace between Israel and the rest of the world. The book also covers the signing of the treaty and the beginning of global chaos.

It is a great book based on the Book of Revelation.

Next in the series is Nicolae.

Summary: Still corny, but better than Book 1
Review: This series will definitely NOT win any literary fiction awards. The reason I read this book is because "Left Behind" got really exciting the last couple of chapters and I just HAD to find out what happened to Hattie Durham, the woman everyone loves to hate, and Buck Williams, gotta love the guy! I liked this better because there was more character development and like a typical sentimental fool, have become endeared to the main characters. If you read it as fiction rather than theology, you will probably enjoy this book, which I consider light, fanciful reading. However, on the plus side, it DOES make the events described in the eschatological book of Revelation more digestible for the layperson, especially if one does not desire to work very hard to study the Biblical text.

Summary: Fast, Interesting, but a little unrealistic
Review: Tribulation Force is an action packed, well thought-out sequel to Left Behind. The book does a good job balancing plot, characters, and action to keep the reader glued to the pages. Unfortunately, a few melodramatic relationships develop between the main characters. Otherwise, I feel like the book gets its main intentions across with an underlying Christian message and Tom Clancy-like action. What more could a reader ask for? The book, in my opinion, is every bit as good as one of those Crichton or Grisham mass-produced bestselling novels. I was not disappointed.

Summary: Fast, Interesting, but at times unrealistic
Review: Tribulation Force is a well thought-out novel with many interesting surprises and events that keep the reader from putting it down. The book reads a lot faster than the first, due to an expansive plot and Tom Clancy-like action. Unfortunatly, there are some unrealistic mini-dramas between characters that dissuade the reader from taking the novel seriously. Even so, a novel is presented with an underlying Christian message AND a good plot. What more could a reader ask for? If you like Crichton, Clancy, or Grisham, than this book with satisfy your hopes. I plan to read on in the series.

Summary: A continued drama... that's it.
Review: There really isn't a whole lot to say about this book. It wasn't anywhere near as moving as Left Behind, but nontheless, a good read. If you have not read Left Behind, I can't imagine that this book would even be worth reading. However, it is the continued drama of a group of rather likeable characters and it will make you want to read the remainder of the series. That's what I'm going to do anyway. Don't get Left Behind.

Summary: Depends upon your perspective
Review: I have only read the first two books of the series so far, but I found them enjoyable. Hopefully, the authors are only speculating, and not predicting, how the true Rapture would play out. Some people I know have read these books and gotten the idea that this is how things are really set to happen. If one is truly living a Christian life, there's nothing to worry about! The strength of these books is their ease of reading, plus the authors genuinely do a good job of keeping the action and suspense constantly present. Just don't take the eschatology literally!

Summary: Took only a few hours to finish.....couldnt put it down!!!!!
Review: Can we say WOW!!!!!!!! Ok great book.......I just couldnt put it down. Carpathia is taking over the world......WAR is near...the two witnesses are killing people with fire from their mouths.... D.C is obliterated...(not so bad).i finished this book and just said WOW......cant wait to get #3. But of course i do have one bad thing to say about the book. Ok already we know Rayford feels bad and sad about losing his wife and son in the rapture, but the authors keep bringing it up and bring it up. It just seems like the authors are trying to fill space. The second thing is there is a 18 month jump .....ummmmmmm hold on here.i did not like that at all. Thats why i only gave this book 4 stars but still cant wait to read #3
