Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Another step downward
Review: This series has declined steadily since Vol. I, a collection I enjoyed greatly... which is why I've stuck it out until now. The story is weak, the art is crude... there really isn't anything here I can point to that I think is very good.

I really dislike panning things, but this installment in the 'Striker' series deserves to be panned. It's also the last volume I will be purchasing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Sophisticated and exciting
Review: Yesterday I saw the second movie of Tomb Raider, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, and I thought that it was just a cheap version of the Striker series (Spriggan as the Japanese title). The story of the movie had the same kind of the world, but it was not as deep as the Striker series. So, I felt like reading these books today. Striker has kind of complicated stories because if you don't know anything about common knowledge on the world history, you're not mature enough to read and enjoy these books. Striker also shows the way the Japanese people make weight of the spritual enlightenment. If you want to enjoy more than just SciFi actions, these books are way to go!! In Japan, more than 10 titles have been published. The more you read, the more you see the deepness of Striker stories. I really hope every title will be published in North America. Oh, the animation movie of Striker is not so good, by the way. Read the books.
