Rating: Summary: Rayearth is a must have! Review: If you ever liked anything about rayearth, you can't miss the second manga! More action and suspense is rising as the story goes on. If you got the first one, this is a must have, and vise-versa. Let's hope to see more from amazon!
Rating: Summary: The artwork is great Review: If you like Sailor Moon, you'll love this book. The artwork is wonderful, and the larger format lets you enjoy it. The storyline is gripping and you can see the emotion on the face. Three girls from Tokyo get called into the magical world of Cephiro to defend the country against evil. Trust me that's all this story has in commin with other stories. I couldn't put this book down. Enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Rayearth is another CLAMP masterpiece! Review: In my opinion, this is one of the best manga I have ever read. Not only is the plot interesting and cute, but it doesn't get boring either. I have read it many times through without getting tired of it. Also, it's good for younger children and adults as well. Finally, the art is complex, detailed, and simply beautiful. It's a CLAMP masterpiece, just as everything they do is.
Rating: Summary: Rayearth Volume 2 is just as great as the first! Review: In the first book we were introduced to a trio of Tokyo schoolgirls summoned to a world of will to save a princess. We continue their adventures in this book. Ascot arrives after Alycone falls, and Umi gains something important. They also get their weapons!A must for any collector of manga, CLAMP fan or not!
Rating: Summary: Lovely... Review: oh...my...god! This is a great book! The story: awesome. The artwork: awesome. The dialogue: awesome. The characters: awesome...you get the idea. Personally, I'm partial to Clef, one of those powerful characters. Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu could represent anyone and everyone. (plus, Fuu wears GLASSES! ) this is one of those rare mangas that is a must buy thing. CLAMP is great, and i would recommend almost any of their mangas.
Rating: Summary: Let's make a little MKR checklist, shall we? Review: Okee-dokee *cracks knuckles* Art- 5 stars Character design- 5 stars Plot- 5 stars Actual handling of plot- 2 stars Now, don't argue with me about how that averages to 3 stars total. ^^;; But anyway, CLAMP had a good idea, but all I want to know...is what the heck were they doing when they finally decided to write it! Let's have a look at how they handle their one-shot characters. Ok, we meet Ferio...hmm...he leaves, what, five pages later? The only enemy-henchman/woman that hangs around for more than eight pages is Alcione. Also, what the heck were CLAMP's publishers THINKING when they gave *shudder* Mixxine the rights to translate! What, were they too good for decent translators? Or did they think they'd get more popularity? Well, they did get more popularity, but honestly! (If you can't tell, I'm trying VERY hard not to turn this into one big 'Mixx-Bashing' session). I never thought I'd say this about a manga, but the anime is better. Yes, even the god-awful dub. At least the characters (Like Ferio and Ascot...etc) hang around a bit longer. At least it feels like there's some character developement. If you're in it for art, buy the manga. If you're in it for any actual satisfaction (once you finish the entire story) go for the anime. The manga does have it's high points, but not enough to leave you with any satisfaction once you finish book 3. Even 'Rayearth 2' isn't any consolation.

It has everything that I want in a manga: action, fantasy, great illustration and wonderful charaters with great personalities. I throughly enjoyed it and I'm sure that anyone who will read it for the first time will love it as much as I do. (Even after so many times that I have re-read it!) This manga (and the rest of the series) is a great buy and I'm positive that anybody who reads this book won't be disappointed! ^_^

Rating: Summary: My first manga, my favorite manga Review: Where do I start with Rayearth? It's amazing. Three girls, Umi, Hikaru, and Fuu are summoned to the land of Cephrio to save Princess Emaurade. Cephrio is a magic land where absolutely everything is controled by one's will. The pillar of Cephrio, the princess, is who protects everything using only her will, because she has the strongest heart. However, this isn't your simple knights save the princess plot. In fact, the plot is has some rather unique twists and turns. I don't want to give away any secrets, though. The characters are amusing, and although semi-predictable, are very enjoyable. The artwork is fantastic, and extremely detailed. Every bit piece of it is perfect, right down to the jewels on the armor. The plot, as I said, is wonderful, and the ending is a tear-jerker (so bring tissues). It's well worth the money, in my opinion, and is It's completely beautiful! Rayearth is my favorite manga, an absolute treat.
