Mutant Aliens brings together the initial storyboards from his feature film of the same name, much like the previous compilation for 1996's I Married a Strange Person (although Plympton warns that Mutant Aliens may differ from what you end up seeing on the big screen). Baby-boomer illustrator and '80s icon Plympton is probably best known in the mainstream for his Academy Award-nominated short film Your Face, but Mutant Aliens has him at his no-holds-barred best, following the fate of a vengeful astronaut left for dead by his scheming boss (think Lost in Space meets Caligula). --Paul Hughes
