Summary: The best non-super hero comic I have ever read.
Review: Strangers in Paradise is great. I happened upon one cause I liked the cover and instantly fell in love with Katchoo, Francine, David, and all the others. Terry, thank you for writing something that gets me thru my life. I only wish I had the entire series; I'm working on it. Give this a chance; it's impossible to say why it's so great, but it is. This is not your typical comic, it's much, much Moore. If anyone can give me info on this or just loves it, write me! Long live Katchoo!

Summary: The best non-super hero comic I have ever read.
Review: Strangers in Paradise is the best comic out. It has characters that are true to life that you feel like you are actually watching them. They make you laugh, cry and happy. When I read it, I can never put it down until I am to the end. And to all the other people who like this I suggest you should find this other title called Hepcats published by Antarctic Press, written by Marrtin Wagner.

Summary: Most addictive comic book ever...
Review: This is one of those comics that I had always promised myself that I would get around to reading eventually, but didn't until just recently. And I'm really, really, glad I did. Initially, I was a little put of by all the reviews I'd read that summed up this comic by saying "it's about relationships" or "love triangles" or "it's like a soap opera," because I usually hate that stuff. I have to admit that after I read this volume (the first one), I thought, "OK, it's cute, funny, girl-fare, but not great." But I decided to buy the second volume (I dream of you) anyway, and after that I was totally hooked. At that point I blew my entire bank account on the rest of the collected volumes and current issues, spent several nights staying up until dawn reading, and finally caught up (I know that sounds pathetic, but it's true, and it was totally worth it). I haven't been this "into" a comic since i started reading the Sandman years ago. This series has some of the best storytelling and character development in the history of comics. So do yourself a favor, and get the whole series at once. You might want to call in sick to work in advance. Just in case.
