Summary: GREAT COMIC
Review: If the book is as good as the comics it will be a terrific Book! Poke'mon Rules

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Same as the comics but if u didn't buy the comics... Buy it!
Review: It's pretty much the same thing as the comics except it has all four issues of the electric tale of pikachu. It also has the cover art in the back. But it's better than buying all four issues. You can just buy one book instead of looking for all four. It's very funny on top of that.

Summary: Pokemon: "The Electric Tale of Pikachu" is beyond the show!
Review: Something is eating the wires in the Ketchums' house. Soon Ash Ketchum finds Pikachu inside his wall. After seeing his rival, Gary Oak, he decides to become the world's greatest Pokemon Master!

This is a great comic that is (in my opinion) a lot better than the TV show.It is very funny! the reasons to buy this book:

1. It's funny! 2. It is different from the show! 3. The artwork is awesome! 4. You won't regret buying it because you'll want to read and enjoy it again and again! 5. IT'S POKEMON!

Summary: Great Graphics
Review: The drawings in this manga are in my opinion much better than the TV series or in any other manga I have read. The characters seem a bit more realistic and many sections are very funny.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A more mature manga than the TV series.
Review: The original manga has original artwork that is far superior to the television series and contains typical japanese humor and caracatures. It includes a love triangle between May, Ash, and Misty, who is much more mature in this adaptation. All these things will go over the heads of younger readers. It is really geared toward teens, but is accessible to children 10 and up who can appreciate some of the humor. It teaches values of hard work, humility, and devotion. Don't judge this book by the TV series or movies. It is - by far - superior.

Summary: Pikachu is the best!!!

Summary: An excellent Pokemon comic
Review: This comic is based on the Pokemon TV show. The story startswhen our hero, Ash Ketchum finds something gnawing at the wires in hishouse. Its his first Pokemon - Pikachu! Then after he sees his rival Gary, he vows to become the greatest Pokemon Trainer in the world, and so his adventures begin...

I really like this comic because it is very funny and some things - like the personalities of certain characters are slightly different from the cartoon. The artwork is excellent - Toshihiro Ono has managed to capture the overall spirit of the show and the characters personalities really well in his drawings.

At the back of the comic, there is some Pokemon fanart.

This is a must for any Pokemon or comic-book fan. Highly recommended!

Summary: The Best Comic I've Ever Read
Review: This is probably the best comic I've ever read. It's actually a four book series (The Electric Tale of Pikachu, Pikachu Shocks Back, Electic Pikachu Boogaloo and Surf's Up Pikachu). I got these when the first came out when they were magazines with flimsy covers and pages you have to be extremely careful with. When I finally got around to getting the last to parts they had finally been released in paperback. I liked the paperback so much that I bought the other two parts in paperback. I'd recommend that you get the paperback for several reasons. First of all: It's easier to store. Second: It's easier to carry around with you. The magazines are actually four different magazines each part. (So in total you would have 16 little magazines to carry around if you wanted to have them with you. A real hassle.. trust me).

Summary: A Great manga, with a different appearence...
Review: This manga is pretty good, but all the characters looking diferent...Brock, Ash,Jessie, James, and Misty look pretty much the same, but minor character such as Ash's mom, Bill, and Professor Oak get a serious makeover...I couldn't stop laughing after I saw Professor Oak, he looks nothing like the anime guy, seeing these makeovers alone justify giving this manga a chance....^_~

Summary: A great fan thriller!
Review: You couldn't ask for better! Pokemon on comics just rocks! These comics are awesome, you don't want to miss out the action! Each issue gets better and better!
