Review: ... so now we pay about the same price for a book with 1/3 less comics? I haven't even read it, I know the comics are good, but why do they have to milk us like this?

Summary: Different Format, Same Old Foxtrot
Review: A lot of people are complaining about the new format of Death By Field Trip. I do wish Bill had stuck with a 3-comic-per-page setup, but I don't think that that alone ruins the book. On the contrary, the strips in DBFT are very funny and refreshingly new. If you like Foxtrot, and you aren't extremely prejudiced against a new format, you should get this book. No question.

Summary: Pretty small, but still undeniably FoxTrot
Review: Although the book is a bit on the small side (read: about half the size of previous books), it's still worth the price -- rather than waiting another year or more for the next treasury to come out. The strip is funnier than ever, and the pre-gags on the Sunday strips that were removed are no big loss (most of them are lame "groaner" jokes anyways).

Summary: Bill Amend Does It Again
Review: Bill Amend does another brilliant and wonderful job in this new collection of FoxTrot Comics. In includes the different story lines of Grandma's Thanksgiving visit, I want to Be A Millionaire, Andy the Grinch, Paige-o-morhosis, Nerds of the Rings, and Peter's Cup Size. This is only the main groups, but it is hilarious from start to finish detailing some of the recent pop culture items such as Jason Fox's pokemon card collection and a parody of his role in the Lord of the Ring. Wonderful Job Once Again!

Summary: More great FoxTrot!
Review: Bill Amend does it again! His strip is witty and insightful, and he captures family humor and pop culture in his amusing strips. This book is definitely worth the money. I do think "ASSORTED FOXTROT" is the absolute must-have of recent FoxTrot books (big and full of color), but "Death by Field Trip" is a great FoxTrot collection and I highly recommend it.

Review: Foxtrot is great!!!! I love it. I have every book in the collection. I'm 13 years old. I think there were some good story lines like that "Andy the grinch" series but the book was rather small. It was over practically right away. The real problem is that the book that is like 1/4 of the usual sized book is THE SAME PRICE at book stores!!! I just don't really get that. But overall, I think the book has its moments. All of the comics in it are good.
