Summary: I cant explain how much I love this series!
Review: If you are feeling sad and depressed, Maison Ikkoku will cheer you up. If you are in the mood for a laugh, it will have you rolling on the floor. If you're in a romantic mood, it will bring tears of joy to your eyes. And if your a broke college student like me, it might just give you some ideas for living cheaply! In other words there is something for everything in this touching and immensely funny series which just gets better with age. The story is, in some respects, very Japanese, but in a larger sense it is universal--this could happen to you, or me, or anyone. The chracters are great, the story is great, the series is just great! Go buy it now! ^_^

Summary: Magnificent, You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll beg for more
Review: Okay, If you have never read a Maison Ikkoku story, go back and start somewhere aroud Bedside Manners to cut your teeth on. Basically this series puts alot of serials like Party of five and 90210 (is that still on?) to shame. It's Melrose place meets Ranma 1/2 to put it simply. You got your love triangles. Character growth, conflict and conflict resolution, and more laughs then a Ranma 1/2 marathon. This latest volume involves The return of Yagami with a vengence. If you thought the hostage crisis she caused way back in Learning Curves was way out of control. Wait until you see the chaos caused when she declares war on Kyoko for the love of Mr.G. If that wern't enough to merit reading this. Mitaka is back and he's not afraid of dogs anymore. Too bad this makes him even more available to that Dog girl, and his uncle isn't above trying to bribe Kyoko to say "see ya" to Soun. But, is she still interested in him? Godai is let go from his part time job at the preschool, but never fear, Sakamoto has connections that can get him a sweet little PR gig. At a Cabaret. What will Kyoko do when she finds out? Will she find out? Will Mitaka ever work up the nerve to call off his engagement to Asuna? Will Yagami ever get the hint? Will you ever stop reading this Reveiw and just get this book?

Summary: Kyoko vs Yagami
Review: Yagami, the little school girl who loves Godai, now has forced Godai to be her tutor, but to her dismay Kyoko gets in the way everytime that Yagami tries to make advances on her "Mr.G." Also, Yagami once again confronts Kyoko about her feelings for Godai, but Kyoko in her fashion cannot be true with her feelings, which angers Yagami. Yagami then begins hurling names at Kyoko. Another wonderfil volume of Maison Ikkoku.
