Summary: A review.
Review: The Family Business has really gotten out of hand in this unusual storyline of the FBOW. What started out as a small meth lab in the basement has turned into a large international drug ring. Even the local law enforcers are paid off to look the other way. The meth flows freely from the home of the Pattersons. But there seems to be trouble ahead as a new player has entered the town. As you can imagine there is a huge turf war between the two rival gangs. For a while the Doctor decides that maybe steering away from selling drugs is the thing to do and starts to get the family more involved with illegal gambling, mostly sports betting though. As it turns out April has a knack for handicapping the world of pro sports. The Patersons decide to open an escort service in addition to the sportsbook.
Day after day Michael sees Dr. Patterson become the envy of the local community and decides to kill him so he can become the next don. Dr. Patterson finds out about Mchael and decides to kill him before he gets killed. It is a sad event watching Dr. Patterson cry, "My Boy, My Boy!" over and over after he does Michael in. But deep in his heart Dr. Patterson knows he was betrayed and had to react before it was too late.

Summary: A brilliant outlook of the family.
Review: To me for better or for worse is sort of the story of my life. And it kind of is the story of everybodys life. The Patterson family resembles the modern family. There are some good moments and bad moments. There are surprising moments and boring moments. And like life on the outside world people age and people die. People get married and sometimes people have hardships. Lynn Johnston is a brilliant cartoonist. She captures true family life and captures the relationships of the familys with eachother, their friends and their pets. Over the course of the strip the family pet has passed away and a friend announced something personal, and people have got married. I definetly woould reccomend this.
