Summary: I love Digimon!
Review: Digimon is one of my favorite shows, so imagine how I felt when I discovered that it had been made into an authentic manga! This starts with the first episode of the first season, as it should. The art is adorable, and this is good for those of us (like me) that missed the first season when it appeared on TV. Digimon fans, you should get this!

Summary: A decent manga worth readin'.
Review: If you like the Digimon TV series, you probably get into this. It may lack the special effects and music/sound that make the shows so fun to watch but it's still a good read. Storyline so far matches the TV almost exactly and it is aimed for kids but it's clever and has a silly sense of humor. I couldn't help snickering at the "poo" throwing numemon. I definetly suggest this for anyone.

Review: ITS THE ARTWROK MAN!!!! IT"S A MANGA> I LOVE MANGA BECASE STUFF HAPPENS IN THIS COMIC THAT DOSN"T HAPPEN OR LEAVEOUT SOMTHING OF THE SHOW! THE ARTWROK AND DALUGE IS FUNNY AND GREAT!!!! CAN'T WIAT FOR VOLUME TWO OF HOW DEVILMON AND ETOMON TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WROLD. EVERYBODY BUT PATAMON T.K'S D IGIMON ELOVES. EVEN IT'S MISSING THE SOUND IT'S STILL BETTER THEN THOESE POKEMON COMICS.
I LOVE DIGIMON AND ALL THINGS RELATED TO IT!!

Summary: an Acceptable Read, but Lacking
Review: WHile Digimon was on TV, I was a diehard fan. I saw ALL the shows and kept oragnized lists of Digimon, etc. SO of course I jumped at the chance to buy a manga and relive my Digimon adventure (corny, I know).

However, once i read it I felt very unstatisfied. It follwed the television show exactly (up to but not including the fight vs. Devimon, but they did not get to the same depth of character that the television show did, and that was the main reason I liked Digimon so much. I felt that the storyline in the manga was very rushed in order to fit the page requirements. It was a lot less detailed; mostly just fighting and wise-cracking jokes.

If you have never watched the television show then this is a good manga because it introduces you to the wonderful world of Digimon. However, if you are a long time or die-hard fan, than I suggest sticking to the television show.
