Summary: THIS IS ANIME AT IT'S BEST
Review: This is a classic tale of two lost causes, Shinji, young boy who feels so useless that he can't even bring himself to commit suicide, and Misato, a young adult working with NERV, a special agency made to protect the world from another angel attack(more on that later).
The world is in a state of mass paranoia. 15 years ago, the world loss half it's population, after being attacked by robots called Angels. Shinji, the main character, is abandoned by his father shortly after the angels attack, and when he is fourteen years old, he is summoned to see his father, for the first time in nearly 3 years! Shinji's father works for NERV, a secret agency sponsored by the U.N to prevent another angel attack. NERV uses special robots with A.I(Artificial Intelligance), that are much like the angels, to fight the Angel's. This story is a great mix of serious action, and great science fiction. The artwork by Yushiyuki Sadamato, is some of the best I have ever seen in a manga series. If you like American Science Fiction, are a fan of Japanese anime, or just want to be introduced to some great manga, this is a must see. If you can't read comics(for some reason some people can't,oh well), then don't even bother. This series has a lot of scientific talk, so if you are not really into that kind of stuff, you might want to steer clear of this series, or any sci fi series for that matter.

Summary: Vol 1 of the Eva Manga, conveniently collected
Review: This is the collected edition of the first stages of the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga. I highly recommend it for any and all fans of the awesome anime series. However, new fans who haven't seen the show yet should be aware that this version differs in some respects from the plot and characterization of the series and that this is not a pure substitute for watching the episodes.

Summary: The Religion of Evangelion
Review: This is the manga that will change your way of life. The anime left me speachless. In the manga, Sadamoto-sama get's more into the minds of the people and what they are thinking. One thing's for sure. This is not the anime and it will change your views in life.

Summary: Want to know about Evangelion?
Review: This is the start of a totally great manga and anime series. If u are serious about your manga's and anime's, I seriously suggest u read Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is about a 14-yr-old boy in the future who has never know his father and his mother is dead and he is living with his aunt and uncle. Suddenly out of nowhere, he gets a postcard from his dad saying that he needs him. He goes to the place to were he needs to meet him. Thinking to himself y his father, after so many years, needs him and for wut reason. I don't want to waste the rest of the story, because that is when u come in. Humor (tones of it!), romance (some), action (u can say that again),... Hope this helps! ^_^

Summary: Epic storyline and fantastic art
Review: Vol. #1 of the Neon Genesis Evanelion series starts off with a bang as teenager Shinji Ikari finds himself swept into the midst of an epic battle with the fate of humanity hanging on its outcome. Fans of the animated series will love the additional detail offered within these manga pages and those who haven't yet seen the televised versions will find this first volume a terrific way to get aquainted with the series.

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's artwork is first rate stuff with every panel packed with oodels of graphic detail. The pacing of the overall storyline is also well done as most readers will no doubt breeze effortlessly through all 176 action packed pages.

Summary: The absolute best!!
Review: What can I say, people? What can ANYBODY say? Evangelion was the anime series that set otaku on both sides of the Pacific on their collective ear!! Nothing like this was ever done before and it will be a long time before anything like this happens again! I have to say the manga does not have the exact same continuity of the anime, but it still delivers the excitement. I only wonder how Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will end this series. Will it be any different than Hideaki Anno's two (yes, two) endings? For sure, I'm gonna be around to find out!

Summary: Open up a can of the big stuff on those Angels, Shinji
Review: What do you do with to one othe the best anime series of the decade? Turn it into manga! I don't care if you like anime and manga or not...READ it! The art throughout the book is excelent, and the EVA/Angel battles are riveting. Shinji is less a whiny wimp in the 1st volumn of the manga than he is in the first episode of the anime. A definite plus. So go out into the world, and buy the book, and then the second, and so on until you spend all your money until you realize that you're flat broke, without out a home, and all you have left is your Evangelion tapes and books. Then go to your friend's house and watch 'em all again and read your manga.
