Summary: A geek's Dilbert
Review: A breath of fresh air for those "who get it". Unless you are one of the blighted, ignorant masses who worship at the altar of Microsoft, Iliad has THE best humor for the computer industry, bar-none! There are more "insider" jokes and references then in "Lion King".

If you're a non-techie ... Oh well, there's always Dilbert :-)

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Just Don't buy it if you're an NT fan.
Review: An absolutely hilarious foray into the world of business vs. the geeks.

Especially good is the bit about excorsizing windows from a pc...

Summary: Worth the money - easily
Review: Even though you are missing some of the strips, and can find them on the computer, you can take this book anywhere for a good laugh. A proud UFie will be able to pick up any storyline from where another left off. The book can always be used as a good conversation starter as well :) Illiad's collection will leave you laughing for hours on end. Definately worth all the money you spend on it.

Summary: A nice neat package
Review: For anyone who has suffered from the UF Productivity Virus, this is the Vaccine. Definately a must have for any Geek. And a saver on Printer Paper. The organization and flow is wonderful...my only wish? More new content. But I'm not complaining, this will definately be a gift to anyone I know who has not discovered Illiad's masterpiece.

Summary: A Book For Those of Us Who Mystified the School Prog. Class
Review: Have you ever wanted to read a comic strip in which the characters speak in programming code? Or where an artificial intelligence is uploaded to Mir to avoid the office-wige switch to Windows? Or where a man is tortured by having random code from his Linux kernel deleted? Or where an anthropomorphic ball of dust tells jokes and sings computer-oriented versions of Christmas carols and R&B hits? Or where a Califoria-born programmer inexplicably spaks in a Slavic accent? Vell sir, it vill be dune-ski. 'User Friendly' is like Dilbert. Only funny. And for geeks. Absolute brilliance. I cannot recommend this book more highly. Unless you're played multiplayer 'Quake II' for extended periods of time without sleep. Like weeks. Then, I can recommend this book and this series even more highly.

Summary: The true tale of geeks in the workplace
Review: Having received my book on Oct. 16th. I have read it cover to back 2 times now. It is truly worth reading by anyone. It is also easy to follow, you read and understand Dilbert; you already have the building blocks you need to go to the next level: Rootus Rootus. The book is fun to read, and if you look carefully, you will see nothing is sacred. Not even iWha.. er iMac.

Summary: User Friendly RULE!!!
Review: I accidenly stumbled upon Userfriendly from the LinuxPPC counter challenge to Microsoft. I didn't know what the site was all about. As I read the comics I found myself laughing and that made my day. I particularly like Stef VS Erwin comic strips. And I'm GLAD I found the site. Userfriendly is on my list beside Garfield, Dilbert, and Foxtrot. Buy the book!!! You won't regret it.

Summary: Buy Multiple Copies
Review: I can't keep the book on my desk. Every IS person in the organization is borrowing, copying their favorites(sorry), and leaving "user friendly" messages on our customer computers. I have taken down my Dilberts in favor of Illiad's spot-on view of my world. When's the next one ?

Summary: Joyous celebration of the Geek!
Review: I guess I had been in denial that I really was a geek. Most of my friends don't know jack about computers and I always thought I was a little weird. Then I stumbled across User Friendly and spent several days suffering from the UF Productivity Virus. Now I know I am a geek, and I am proud. Illiad has done a magnificent job of capturing the geek world in a timely and humorous fashion. This book, and the Ufie community at large, is a joyous celebration of all that is geek. Definately a Good Thing (tm).
