Summary: Enlightening Literature
Review: The only regret I have for this books is that there's not enough people who knows or have heard of this masterpiece. It is simply a must-read, thought provoking literature. My world view of nature and man changes after I read this.

Summary: one of the most profound comics ever produced
Review: nausicaa is as significant as anything alan moore, frank miller, otomo, jack kirby, herge, giraud or anybody else ever did, and it's more beautiful than any of them. it's everything you could want from a comic, and you can do the colors yourself to boot.

Summary: The best work of all times
Review: I want to say this is the best Manga/Graphic novel I ever read!!! After reading it so many times already, I still cannot get bored with it.

I have seen the anime(Japanese Animation) version of this story. The anime is the best I ever seen in my entire life. However, the story in these graphic novel series have more in-depth story lines than the anime, which makes these graphic novel series an excellent addition to anybody's collection.

Summary: READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: The Nausicaa books are sooooo good that the only bad thing about them is that the storey doesn't go on forever! read the fist book and you will understand what I mean.

Summary: This is FANTASTIC!
Review: Naussica is FANTASTIC. Miyizaki is one of the few living fantasy geniuses and the world's greatest visual storyteller along with Speilberg. For the summer of 1999, the second film (after Star Wars, that is) to see IS "Princess Monomoke", the most Naussica-liked of his masterwork animations! Miramax better does a good job promoting it!

Summary: Greatest possible book of all time!
Review: This book greatest book ever created! Hayao Miyazaki has brilliantly put together all the elements that make a book a classic. This book deserves more stars than even a supercomputer could count. This book rises above the competion as easily as a hot knife through butter.

Summary: The greatest piece of Sci-Fi ever written.
Review: I was drawn to Miyazaki by his anime Nausicaa and Totoro. But nothing, not even the hints that I'd got from the Internet, prepared me for the impact of the manga. It presented a huge, coherent world, unseen in scope since Tolkien and surpassing him in its treatment of philosophical themes. JRRT was never this perplexing in his work, and Narnia was but a shallow scribble compared to this. I'd go as far as to say that this is one of the greatest literary works of the C20. When are they going to release the hardback?

Summary: The most thought provoking work ever created
Review: The common misconception of literary cirlces is that thought producing, and intellectually superb work can only be created through long texts, and complex sentance structures. This is not the case. Hayao Miyazaki's "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind," is one of the ten greatest works of art to grace the 20th centuary, no, the entire world. His artwork is beautiful, and never bores the eye. But the story of Nausicaa pales even the great artwork. If you are someone who enjoys the mockery of society's shortcommings, and glorification of nature's subliminal powers, then this book is a MUST to your collection. And don't let anyone tell you this is not a literary master piece.

Summary: Mayeb I'm missing something...
Review: Looks good (albeit the pages are too small), but the story just doesn't satisfy.

Review: this manga is brillant. You have to read it repeatedly to understand it but it makes you think. The art is perfect. The characters are intriguing and fascinating. Read it.
