Summary: The enemy is me.
Review: Another masterpiece from the mind of Peter David, Future Imperfect is praised by fans and critics not only as some of his best Hulk work, but as some of his best work overall!

Brought forward in time ninety years and arriving in a post-apocalyptic future, the Hulk is beseeched by a group of resistance fighters to take down the being responsible for all the devastation. A being known only as "the Maestro."

But the battle won't be a simple one, for the Hulk soon learns that the Maestro is none other than a bizarre future incarnation of himself! Driven insane by decades of persecution, made even stronger by the free-floating radiation of the era, and having nearly a hundred years more experience than his younger self, the Maestro will rank as the Hulk's greatest challenge ever...... assuming he survives it.

Featuring art by George Perez and colors by Tom Smith, Future Imperfect is a modern-classic that belongs in every fan's collection.

Review: by NOT buying this masterpice when i had the chance! My Library had a copy and i took it out, read it and loved it! i thought that i could just go back there for when ever i had a craving to read this great story, but now it's listed as "missing," i.e. some kid borrowed it and never returned it. Now it's out of print, hard to find, and when u can find it it's pricey. Well, it's availble here and i'm gettin' my copy before the're all gone, and if you like the
Hulk or super-hero comics in general, buy this baby while you still can.

Summary: A comic-book masterpiece!
Review: Future Imperfect! This is one of the best comic-book miniseries ever: the art by George Perez is awesome and Peter David's story is really thrilling... great! If you like the Hulk read this book... If you don't like read it just the same! If you've appreciated Peter's writing on Star Trek: Imzadi, read how good he is in comic-books!

Summary: Great Art/Story
Review: George Perez is one of those few comic superstars who can write AND draw. This is, for me, the ultimate HULK story. I never felt much for the jade giant until I read this. Rick Jones' shrine of superhero costumes and paraphenalias was drawn in explicit detail! And to use such a historical (super villain's) artifact for the ending was just a surprise. One question through: how did Rick Jones survive when the other superheroes didn't? Aside from that one minor question, this is just one book to be treasured (and read over and over again).

Summary: The best Hulk story ever told!
Review: I loved this story so much. If you are into time travel, you have to check this book out. Fantastic artwork by Perez, and it is written by the ultimate Hulk scribe, Peter David. I reread this quite often.

Summary: If you liked What Savage Beast, then read this also
Review: If you enjoyed Peter's Hulk novel, What Savage Beast, then you should read the "Future Imperfect" story also. It goes to show that the editors at Marvel were out of their minds to fire Peter David when he kept turning out good work like this.

Summary: Hulk vs Hulk -- a great story with great artwork
Review: It is a future imperfect, where all the superheroes of old have died... except one.

In the distant future, a group of rebels open a time portal to the past and brings through it Bruce Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk. This is not the mindless Hulk of old, but the new Hulk with the mind of Bruce Banner.

After adjusting to his new future surroundings, Hulk finds out that the mastermind behind his abduction is no other than Rick Jones, who is now old and wheelchair bound. Rick has brought the Hulk into the future in hopes that he can restore freedom to a dictatorship world. This future is filled with Gestapo-like police that has free reign over the residents. However, the police all follow the leadership of the Maestro, a powerful dictator who is actually the future version of the Hulk!

What we are treated to is a fantastic story of the future of the Marvel Universe, where the remains of heroes are kept in jars in Rick Jones' basement.

This is a fantastic story of an alternate post-apocalyptic world run by the Hulk. Peter David, who has written many Hulk stories, doesn't miss a beat in this absolutely fantastic tale. He keeps the story very fluid and interesting. The artwork is wonderful, as the legendary George Perez does it.

I definitely recommend this book to any Hulk fan, or anyone looking for a quality story.

Summary: Absolute classic!
Review: Peter David & George Perez' "Future Imperfect" has got to be one of the greatest, coolest and most clever comic-book stories ever. I totally enjoyed reading it again and again...
What I particularly liked:
Banner/Hulk meets Hulk/Banner of the future. The future, older Hulk looks cool! His look and personality is spot on. I really think this is how Hulk would and SHOULD end up being in a few decades time!
Rick Jones dies in a brilliant, genius way - well I thought so anyway! (Definitely one for Marvel fans!)...
I don't want to give the ending away but I'll just say that the future Hulk's demise is pure class - a work of genius and, it seems, a sort of tribute/homage to "Back to the Future"! (Once you read it, you'll know what I mean...)
Both story and art are first class - can't praise this book enough.
If you're a fan of the Hulk or just great stories, you can't go wrong with "Future Imperfect". It ranks up there along with other comic-book classics such as Dark Knight Returns, Kraven's Last Stand, Kingdom Come, Arkham Asylum, etc...
