Rating: 5 stars
Summary: 5 Stars?? Of course, it's View Askew Material
Review: For all of those people out there just like me, you cannot get enough Kev Smith material. This collection of comics spins off of the movie, Clerks. Randall does not dissappoint with crude behavior and his warped yet sensible logic. Find out what happened to Caitlin. How do you awaken a comotose female who had sex with a dead guy? Dante knows. Jay and Silent Bob naturally appear and even host the "Lost Episode" from the funeral in Clerks. Saying Kev Smith has milked this concept to death shows how little a VA fan someone is. Jay points out how the tubby one is cashing out, tongue in cheek of course. This book is not for the money it generates, it is for us die hard VA fans out there who cannot sit idley by and wait for the next flick.

Summary: Better than the movies.
Review: I remember first seeing the movie. It was AFTER reading the first Clerks comic. I have to be honest, the comics are much better than the movie. That's my opinion. But if your going to spend $18 on the video, insted, spend HALF that on this book. You WILL laugh. The stories follow Randal's obsesion with the booming action figure market, Dante trying to win a fifteen year old bet and Randal trying to stop him. Plus, the infamus 'funeral' scene that was cut from the movie due to budget problems. See one of Santa's elves rent a porno from Randal. See Dante running for his life after getting kicked out of a mentel hospitle for 'caning' a patient. You gotta see it. Lets review: Movie = hilarious Comics = better. Snoogans.

Summary: Class A Comedy
Review: If you are a fan of Kevin Smith and his films you will no doubt enjoy this collection of the three comic books based on his film "Clerks". If you are easily offended though by vulgar language this may not be the book for you. The book follows the adventures of the disgruntled clerks Randal and Dante. This book is sure to keep you out of your seat, and on the floor in tears of laughter. I liked it mostly for the "lost scene" segment of the book, where it took a supposedly "cut scene" from the film clerks, and turned it into one of the funniest things I have ever read. You have to read it to belive it. So if you are a fan of vulgar comedy, or of Kevin Smith, (I suppose the two go hand in hand) then get YOUR hands on this book today.

Summary: If Smith wants to be taken seriously as a writer...
Review: Ignore this teen book, and wait for his up-coming stories on GREEN ARROW for DC Comics.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you love the movie, you'll love the book!
Review: Kevin Smith has done it again. After writing the film classic, Clerks, Kevin follows up with a comic book that has me wanting more. The artwork isn't the greatest, but the stories are. I can't wait until I read Jay and Silent Bob: Chasing Dogma.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great stuff
Review: The only bad thing about this collection of the Clerks comics is the drawing style. I really didn't like it. I wish it'd of been one in the style of the cartoon, but these came out before it...so I shouldn't ask for that. But still...the drawings really bugged me. Ok onto the actual comics-

They're hilarious. The stories seemed like they were things that would have actually happened in a Kevin Smith movie. Dante and Randal are just as funny as ever (especially Randal), especially in the story of what happened when they were at the funeral from "Clerks" (you know...when Randal messed things up).

If you liked the movie, you'll like this book. It's that simple. There's the personality of the characters, the cussing, and the jokes that were in "Clerks" thankfully. Kevin Smith fans and followers: get this now.
