Summary: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Vol. 4 manga:
Review: Well, I'm a die-hard Evangelion fan so of course I love the manga. I especially like this volume because it has the first appearence of my favorite character, Asuka! (although it seems everyone else out there can't stand her :P ) Sadamoto's art and personal interpretation of Anno's story are awesome. Evangelion is by far one of the best animes and mangas I've had the pleasure of seeing/reading in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone who likes action, wonderful plot, and stunningly effective character development. The characters are what make Evangelion so wonderful, to somone my age (18) I can identify with lots of things in their lives. (Although I don't have the added stress of saving the world to throw in the mix of a turbulant emotional roller coaster!) Bottom line: read this series, you'll be glad you did. Better yet, see the anime if you haven't already. And those of you who have seen the whole series, an excellent fanfiction called Evangelion R and R' will satiate your appetite for more Anno-style Evangelion episodes to continue the series.
