Summary: Woohoo! Simpsons merchandise!
Review: This is the single best piece of Simpsons merchandise ever. The book's got everything, from sneaky little hidden jokes, to full and complete episode synopses, this book's got it all. It's a must-have for beginning Simpsons fans and freeze-framers alike. Only one thing wrong with it though: get the hardback, because for some reason the paperback copy fell apart. You've got to get this book. It's much more entertaining than this review! :)

Summary: Simpsons Fanatics Should Rejoice
Review: This is the perfect book for any Simpsons fanatic. This book has a detailed synopsis of every episode and features many things that you might not have noticed in an episode. This book also features a charactor bio, a list of what happens in the beginning sequence on the couch, and of course a list of everytime Homer says DOH!. This book has all that I mentioned plus much, much more. If you're a big Simpsons fan don't miss out on the quality piece of merchandise.

Summary: MMMM...... Simpsons
Review: No simpsons guide make homer go something, something. Get it dammit!

Summary: in the words of Monty Burns...."excellent"
Review: This is the definitive work on the Simpsons (years 1990 through 1997). Each show is summarized and many choice pieces of dialogue are included for your repeated enjoyment. It even includes brief summaries of when the show was just a short feature on the Tracey Ullman Show.

Where I come from the Simpsons is shown 4 times a day. This sort of exposure can only enhance the Simpsons' reputation as the cleverest and wittiest show on the tube (as well as make Matt Groening the envy of avarice). The jokes are sharp, the social and political parodies are astute, and Homer J. Simpson is the king of the Everyman (or at least of every fat, bald, lazy, beer-guzzling, sister-in-law hating man). As Homer would say, "exactly...doh!".

Summary: Who needs this Simpsons book? You DOOOOOOOOO!
Review: This is one of the most extraordinary volumes I've ever encountered encapsulating a television series (Entertainment Weekly's guide to "Seinfeld", it is not). Exhaustive, informative, and ridiculously entertaining, it is the perfect accompaniment to the perfect television show - as it is written by the people who write the show (which does make a difference). Even if you only "enjoy" the Simpsons (as opposed to being a raving fanatic, which most people who watch the show are, after all), you'll be able to come away with a heightened respect for the complexity of the show and the little things that make the show great (which may have flown by the first time)...the hours of entertainment this book brings make it a most worthwhile acquisition. Very highly recommended!

Summary: Best TV Episode Guide Ever
Review: This is the best book I have ever bought. For each episode it gives the summary, the funniest quotes, some featured dialog, stuff you might have missed, and a lot more. I have had it for a few years and still look at it all the time. I would definitely recommend this book if you like The Simpsons at all.

Summary: Funny, funny
Review: I have adored the Simpsons since the very first time I watchedthe show. Both the show and the book are quite silly, but reallyentertaining; I always pick this guide up when I'm blue and need to laugh a little. The only thing I didn't like about it is that ends with an episode that is already dated (D'oh!) so I would suggest Matt Groening to start working on a new guide.

Summary: Helpful and Funny
Review: If you like the Simpsons you will like this book. It is basically an episode guide with biographies of the characters on the side. Have you ever seen a sign on an episode and tried to read it but you didn't have the chance? In this book it has whats written on all the signs, buildings, newspapers, etc. There is even an Itchy and Scratchy filmography and on just about every page there is a chalk board of what Bart writes! For example "Goldfish do not bounce" or "Nerve gas is not a toy" or "Beans are neither fruit nor musical". Its a great book!

Summary: A must-have for the Simpsonophile or Pop-Culture Guru
Review: As a die-hard Simpson's fan, I immediately bought this book the instant that I saw it and was not disappointed. Contained within this volume (and it's companion expansion [buy both!]) is a trove of Simpson's trivia that will keep you busy. I love to quote this show immensely and engage my friends in trivia contests quite often, and this book really revved up my knowledge. A few minor things, however, keep this book from a 5-Star rating. Though many of the songs are included, several were overlooked and not put in (they are, however, present in the companion volume). Also, many of the quotes published for each episode, while often funny, are usually not of the best included in the show. However, this book is certainly a must-have for the Simpsons fan in your life. Enjoy!

Summary: This is the BEST Simpsons book ever written!
Review: I absoultely LOVED this book! I can honestly say that this is the one book that I bought that I could read everyday and never get tired of. It is so comprehensive and contains every little known and unknown fact any Simpsons fan could want. I only wish it went further than it did, but besides that, it's totally a treasure of Simpsons facts!
